Why is there no mmr? I play like a survivor and I'm tired of being a victim in every match. it is simply impossible for a survivor to escape.

It's not impossible for survivors to escape.

Survivors are supposed to be victims tho.

I fall victim to 9 out of 10 or 10 out of 10 matches. Red rank killers are invincible.

If you're truly dying that much, have you considered the prospect that you might not belong in red ranks and need to improve at the game?
4 -
let's then remove generators and gates from the game.
2 -
I'm also waiting on news about mmr, they havent said anything for ages

what should i do to leave red ranks?
0 -
They're (allegedly at least) working on it
I do feel for them here though cause how do you determine "skill" in this game in an easy, quantifiable way? Was it how often a player survives cause your team generally matters more to that than your own skill. How long you can loop? The killer generally matters more to that. Is an emersion player higher skilled than a good chaser? Are they higher skilled than someone with great situational awareness like how to lead a killer away from gens? Is that useless potato a survivor God because they always survive as they've perfected the art of The Blendette and leaving everyone to die?
Every indicator of survivor skill in this game usually comes down to factors that don't involve the player. If I individually watch or play against a survivor I could tell you how good or bad they may be but that's not a terribly realistic way to build a matchmaking system from and all the stats in the world in a "Party" style game like DBD will always make automating skill levels really really difficult.

Reason?
1 -
Well, if you're dying 9/10 games like you say, I'm surprised you haven't already de-piped out of red ranks.
2 -
You simply do not belong to red ranks. Stop playing SWF and derank until you feel comfortable
2 -
I don't play SWF. I have red ranks. and the rank does not go down, because the rank is about actions, not victory.
0 -
I wish that I was a red rank player though.
0 -
Another reason why the safety pip should be removed.
0 -
I would not want me to be a red rated player. There are killers from whom you cannot escape.
1 -
Why is rank not dependent on victory? Why this emblem system? What is the problem with using the experience of other games?

Ppl didn't even bothered to understand ur point they straight away weny with "git gud" and "killer good surv bad" mentality as usual nothing new
Mmr is big problem rn and have never been worse I did swf last night with 2 other friends ranks 2,3 and 4 and got matched with rank 15 killer, obviously the killer was victim of poor matchmaking but ppl will rather attack u instead trying to get the point because everything that has to do with survivor is bad u know follow the forum rules I mean....

Thing is, it's totally possible to do enough in a match to where you at least safety pip, even if you die. Couple that with the fact that it's immeasurably easy to rank up if you play enough and you've got a recipe for people being in ranks that they don't really belong in. There really is nothing the OP can do, except for maybe deranking on purpose, which I personally would never condone (mainly because dranking typically involves intentionally throwing games which is really unfair on your teammates if you're playing Survivor).

They are dieing a lot.
Meaning they are getting matched with stronger killers than they should.
So people suggesting that they derank so they get matched with killers around their skill level.
Yeah... "killer good, survivor bad"... totally what happened here

The problem is this game dont have a clear win condition. For some people its pipping for other its kill for other its escape. Just like that i gave you 3 different win con player can choose from. Because people are now use to get a participation trophy everyone need to win and it show in that game are that mentallity is bad.

have any questions? and so every match.

You have my sympathy, but I don't agree. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, and sometimes you get streaks of both. Just keep playing and practicing. You probably just had a bad run.

Oh pls we all know those posts about matchmaking there were plenty I even posted one for myself back in days and it was all about killer matchmaking and nobody said get good or derank to my killer level because I was vicitim of pooor matchmaking but they said I'm sorry that happened blah blah we love double standards here

Man as a red rank killer it certainly doesnt feel like that.

I will agree its way to easy for survivors to pip and leads to situations where people have to go against killers that are at a higher skill level.

sure mate... whatever you say...

I don't need to say it go ahead and check it urself but I belive some ppl can't see what's under their nose because of their ego so no point have a nice day

Only in our Red Rank minds.... if only it were true. :)

Mmh? Why?

The game has a goal, to fix 5 generators and go through the gate. If the goal is not achieved, then this is a loss.
0 -
Because its in the word already.
Even if they survive, they would still be victims of attempted murder or something like that.

but when it's from match to match. the game becomes uninteresting.

DAAAAAAAAMMMN

they are working on this and have temporarily implemented it. It was kind of a disaster to be honest... so I am much more in favor of them doing a lot of work to improve the MMR system. Also True MMR would be terrible... super sweaty games and people slugging to get pips that are not even indicative of how well they played. You can run a killer all game and if they are a new gamer and follow you all game... you can saftey pip, while clearly outplaying the killer.

Its the goal but you can die and rank up. That why some survivor dont care if they die because for them their win is a pip and escaping is a bonus. Because the game is so grindy for other beating everyone in the BP category is a win.
