What's the scariest killer?

I think design wise, Doctor/Demogorgon are my picks, Demo is a big lumbering beast that has a mapwide scream and Doctor has the cool jumpscares and creepy laugh.

Right now it's a mix between ghostface and myers for me in terms of gameplay though, when you catch them stalking you it's pretty creepy. And they are great at jumpscaring.

Clown is just a disturbing sight and his terror radius doesn’t help. His breathing is also creepy

I wish I fought him more, I quit before he came out and just came back so I've barely ever fought him

Despite his obvious weakness nowadays, I still find seeing Micheal staring at me from a distance the scariest thing in the game.

Doctor is probably the most frightening.

He has a restraining headset that forces his and mouth eyes open and wires are sticking out of him. But he doesn't seem to care because he is so committed to killing meat that he looks through it. (Let's not forget that in his lore it says that COLD WAR ERA CIA was too disturbed by what he was doing to really look into it.)

Trickster is also creepy because of how realistic he is and how gruesome his killings were.

With my experience with the game it's hard to be actually anxious about facing off a killer, but the Huntress still puts me on guard the most. I'm hard of hearing so while other killers and their terror radius don't matter because I'm watching out for them, I always know the Huntress is nearby with her hum, and it's not directional anymore so you all get to suffer like I do.

That's not why she's scary though. On top of being everywhere at once, have you ever been sniped from across the map with a hatchet while you're on a gen? You know the Nemesis perk Lethal Pursuer? People are going to get hit at the start of the map.

'Okay what killer am I facing this time?' HATCHET TO THE FACE

At low ranks Huntress is fine and not much of an issue. Red rank Huntresses though? They're up there with old school back revving Hillbilly games. It doesn't matter how vigilant you are, Huntress may decide to check a gen from 50 meters away with a long shot hatchet. She may defend her hook with a moonshot hatchet. It doesn't matter if you're ready or not.

God damn Myers! The moment I see that Captain Kirk mask I crap a brick and run for the hills.

Second goes to Pyramid Head. I'm a huge Silent Hill fan and know what this bastard has done and can do. Plus, he looks terrifying.

Watched a stream recently with me playing as the Oni and both players said that Oni frightened them when ever they faced them. They both seemed genuinely spooked that game, especially as I had M&A on thus came out of nowhere to demon strike them. GF and Myers can be spooky

Blight imo has a very terrifying appearance. From his ominous cloak to his mutated jaw and tremoring body, the lore that he holds to the fact that he's canonically bested and tortured nearly every killer single-handedly makes The Blight a very intimidating force of nature.

Considering how hard it is to win a match as him, probably Trickster. Big yikes 😂

Probably Deathslinger. He's really the only killer who actually puts me on edge - both aesthetic-wise and gameplay wise. His surprising stealth meaning you have to constantly be on lookout, the sheer intimidation factor he has when walking towards you, knowing you're never 100% safe from a gunshot, the pulse-pounding nature of his chases, and several other things I could mention. I might be biased because I main him, but I find him exhilarating to play against, even if he lowers my life expectancy every time. A Deathslinger that doesn't do the cheap ADS spam zoning is probably the height of DBD horror for me, and I love matches against that.

Honorable mention would go to old Bubba. Yeah, it's doubtful that he would ever catch you - but if he did, boom, it's over. You're not getting off that hook. Really brought a tension to go with how memey Bubba was back then.

I've actually never got to fight deathslinger, I quit right before he came out and haven't seen him since I came back :(

That's a shame. A lot of people don't like him, but personally he's one of my favourite killers on both sides.

A tip for when you eventually go against him - while you're being reeled in by him, crouching shrinks your hitbox and makes it significantly harder for him to hit you through windows.
