Semi talking about MMR - Emblems

So i knew the emblem system was pretty much a joke but ######### me....

Just had a game on Plague, was using Black Incense wich pretty much shut down the map, but that's besides my point. Game lasted about 5 minutes, 1 gen done, i closed it by having 1 person on hook, quickly one tapping two infected people on a gen, then catching the Meg i saw going for the unhook due to Black Incense - 4k

I ended up with NO chaser emblem, like 0, "11 chases won, 10 survivors hit"

Gold Devout because less than 9 hook actions

Iri Gatekeeper cos... duh

Silver Malicious because... i don't even know

Ended up with juuuuuust enough for a black pip.... on a 4k. Like.... really? And people think we can get an MMR system that actually works? Based on what kinda moon logic?

Red rank game btw i was rank 1 and all 4 (solo i think) survivors were ranks 4 - 2.

    Killers get punished by emblems if they kill survivors too fast

    Plague suffers from poor chaser emblems if survivors don't cleanse, especially if you infect survivors before hitting them (because sickness damage doesn't count as a won chase the same way hitting a survivor with your incense burner does, or corrupt purging them does.) It's the same issue as with any oneshot killer who extensively uses their power.

    As for the rest, yeah, you don't get good emblems if the game ends too fast. The same is true on the survivor side - survivors that hammer gens and get out with the killer only having gotten one or two hooks will barely black pip. To be honest, I think that's a good thing (outside the context of achievements, where it becomes extremely stupid.) Games that are over in two seconds aren't fun and shouldn't be encouraged.
