Camping at the end game

Does the emblem still loses it's points if you camp at the end game? I'm asking this because it's almost the only thing you can do at the end game so that's why Im asking tho

Yeah I agree with that being the only time camping to be necessary. Got a person on the hook and the exit gates are open with 2 or 3 other survivors running around, I think it still does punish but don't take my word for it.

If it still punish the killer I think it's kind of bad in my opinion

    Yes it does.

Not ranking up too fast is a good thing though

The penalty for being near the hook:

After 10 seconds of hooking someone the penalty will start if you are within 16m, this is increased if you are within 8m.

The penalty will not apply if:

1 or more survivors are within 16m of the hook.
You are in a chase while near the hook.
The survivor on the hook is the last remaining survivor alive.

So endgame hook camping will not be possible if survivors simply stay 17m or more away from the hook forcing you to keep a distance yourself. Although I don't enjoy being camped and don't do it myself (unless endgame) I do not feel it is a balanced/unexploitable method they have implemented. Since rank currently holds no significance at all right now I personally do not care about my emblem however there are people who want to rank up and this seems imbalanced for them.

    Ah, the camp of shame.
I think it follows the same rules regardless if the gates are open, but you are likely to have another survivor within that no go zone to stop the decay.

I could understand that change but only and only again - if there would have been implemented an penalty in points for looping. There's some serious lack of balance that an not-so-funny-but-officially-accepted tactic for killers becomes a b.point drain while equal garbage on the other side is a b.point farm.
