Can Victor be more Lethal?
If Victor is on a survivor for so long that I can recall him, he should be able to down the survivor. I get that the recall feature was made for when he was taken hostage but if Survivors were actually afraid to have him on for too long, nobody would take him hostage. Charlotte is just an M1 Killer when Victor is attached to someone and she shouldn't be like that. Either remove Victor as fast as you can or suffer the consequence and be downed if you have him on for too long. I don't think that would make them too OP...

Yeah I agree honestly. This, or give the ability to recall instantly

With the amount of time is takes to send Victor out, find the same survivor, and for Charlotte to wake up from her dormant state I honestly wouldn't even consider that to be too OP either.

I'd object on principle to making that little murder machine more lethal than he already is, but if you're asking for a way to disincentivize survivors from carrying him around for half a minute, yeah. That feels like an unintended interaction with the power and gives survivors more power over the killer than they should probably have.
That said, one of my biggest beefs with the Twins is that Charlotte regens Victor immediately no matter what happens to the little gremlin, and that this is the only case where she doesn't. Now, I think she should get him back quick in such a scenario because it's a successful play and doesn't deserve punishment, but her getting him back 5 seconds after he gets kicked is just ridiculous.

This would be old Legion all over. Attach Victor and chase with Charlotte. The survivor either crushes Victor and gets locked in the animation, getting downed by the sister. Or, they loop and go down anyway after 30 seconds.

No, keeping victor makes you very susceptible to ambushed, you're oblivious vs killer with permanent wallhack on you while unable to progress the match in any direct way.
Twins are already really strong killer. They don't need more lethality added to them.
3 -
By the time you can recall him he should just break the neck of survivors so they instandly die.

Twins are not strong...
Stop lyin'
They don't have 24/7 Wallhacks like you think it does, Play the killer for a whole week.
Don't instantly assume that just because they can quickly down. one survivor let alone pressure all the survivors at once

Im fine with Victor being held hostage, HOWEVER, they need to revert the unnecessary cooldown nerf he got if they arent going to increase his lethality.
2 -
If you use Victor on me, baby is mine now. If you wanna him back, lets dance around pallets and windows :)

I think a survivor going down for holding Victor hostage is too much, but I DO believe there should be some type of status that applies if they don't take Victor off them.

He's a better slugger than a backpack.

The only time you get wallhacks is at the beginning when Victor first attaches himself and when he's able to be recalled.

give me back my brother you bastard. >:(
2 -
that just sounds like asking for free kills.
its already easy enough to down someone with Victor, he really, really does not need to be any more lethal.
i'd even argue for the opposite.

Victor does not like you, if he would like you why he is on my back? Why not with you?
Leave my baby alone, he needs new parent :)

I agree the 5 second regen is too fast. There should be different respawn times depending on what happens to Victor. The problem with Twins is that their power is very complex and so they have a lot of problems because of it.

I believe OP has a point, but we have to address other issues before we worry about taking Victor Hostage.
However, let's just pretend in a perfect world they solved the twins and the only thing they have left is to fix Victor Hostage situations.
Here's how I'd do this:
- When Victor is attached, the healthy survivor will become injured and be deep wounded.
- Every so often for as long as Victor remains attached, the survivor will receive a skill check. Failing the skill check will remove a small portion of the deep wound meter.
- The longer Victor stays on, the skill checks become more difficult and it will be more penalizing to miss a skill check.
Would this be unique? Yes, this makes Victor extremely dangerous during a chase if he's attached because survivors will have to manage skill checks and avoiding the killer simultaneously. This wouldn't destroy newer players because they will likely remove him before the skill checks get anywhere close to veteran level.

Thing is, Victor can be removed while running around a loop and dropping pallets... vaulting also isn't prevented by Victor being on you either. It's not the same thing as Deep Wound where you need to be standing still to mend.

Here's another idea I came up with, if nothing gets changed to Victor, they should definitely buff Charlotte is some kind of way. What if when Victor is controlled, Charlotte gained Victor's idle affects? (Killer Instinct when Survivors are nearby, aura highlighted, etc...) Obviously she would be given a much larger range than Victor's but I think it would make Charlotte not completely useless when she is in her dormant state.

Ooooh! I really like this idea! Instead of deep wound however, why not make it a meter like Trickster's Laceration or Plague's Vile Purge? Maybe 5-6 failed skill checks before being downed?

Oooooh I like this idea a lot actually.
Right now when I play Twins though I just use Victor to secure my kills and to scout out certain areas as my little aura totem. So I'll go and lumber around as Charlotte and whack a survivor, then when they run off I sic Victor at them to secure the down since he can hound them and catch up pretty damn quickly. He's my little attack gremlin.

I think it seems you’re not understanding the value of what Victor does for the match. If a survivor wants to kidnap Victor, let them.
If a survivor willingly wants to take themselves out of helping with their objective, that’s fantastic. Ignore them. Don’t get baited into chasing them. If they happen to cross your path for an easy down, also great.
Survivors like to falsely think this is a great strategy: kidnapping Victor, not realising how much they’re hurting their team.
Imagine being any other killer, like Wraith, and almost straight away in a match only having to deal with 3 survivors at 5 gens. That’s how powerful Victor can be if someone is stupid enough to think kidnapping Victor is a good idea.
Don’t get stressed about not having your power during chases. If you’re in a situation where it’s critical to have Victor, like body blocking a loop as Charlotte, only then recall him.
Victor doesn’t need more lethality than he already currently has. This is more of a psychological problem with players when a survivor takes Victor for extended periods of time.

I've played Twins more than enough to know how their power works. The survivor will stand still in animation when the bar is full. And whenever they stop the action before filling the bar, then the progress will reset. So, they can't even 99 it for the perfect moment.
You can loop with Victor. I said that much. But you can't remove him while looping, even if you drop god pallet. If you try, you'll go down.

Reload Victor at lockers.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Imagine the animation and graphic. Anytime a survivor gets in a locker, or when Charlotte reloads, she picks from one of 3 Victors hanging at the back of the locker.
2 -
Sorry to derail the conversation, but it’s still really, really funny when a survivor is dumb enough to get into a locker while being chased by Victor.

Victor: "Come here often" ?

This. Victor doesn’t need to be stronger. Twins are already really strong. They’re quickly becoming one of my most played killers over recent months. I’ve done a 180 from thinking they were the worst, most horribly designed joke in the entire game, to now understanding just how oppressive they can be.
I’d like to add that I do great with them without the usual camping scummy-ness, and the only times I mass slug is when the survivors are silly enough to serve themselves up on a platter to Victor.
1 -
Depends how far Charlotte is
1 -
I wasn't trying to say that they weren't strong, they are VERY strong. My only problem with them is that there really isn't any incentive to get Victor off quickly. Sure you will be injured and your aura will be seen after a certain duration but other than that, there's nothing much to it.

Which a survivor is making a gamble on. And that also falls onto how smart the killer player is. In my opinion, sending Victor ridiculously far from Charlotte is never a good/smart idea.
0 -
No incentive other than they’re not able to help do much, and they start noticing 1 or 2 of the other survivors going down and hooked quickly, and at best only 1 or 2 gens are popped...
Trust me, when the remaining 3 start struggling to make significant progress against the amount of times Charlotte is applying adequate pressure, they stop kidnapping Victor, and it won’t happen again for the remainder of the match.
0 -
The only thing they can't do is repair gens, they can still unhook and do any other action. I get what you are saying but it also depends on the map and whether or not Charlotte can constantly pressure the survivors. I mainly find myself only doing well towards late game due to Oppression and Fire Up.

We needs twins power to be nerfed so the devs can feel comfortable letting use hit a survivor with victor and switch to Charlotte without use feeling like we had to wait through a match que time during our match
It's just exhausting and feels bad

They can’t heal other survivors either.

I had the funny image in my head of a Meg wearing Victor on her head as a hat, just gnawing on her scalp as she tries to heal a Feng who just looks at both of them, trying to contemplate her life the choices that led to this moment.
1 -
Really? Hmm...I swear I remember someone heling while Victor was on them. My mistake then!
