What's up with Trapper's Traps
I don't know how this happened, but I was opening the door and this Trapper somehow kept resetting the trap at my feet. I kept stepping in it even though I was opening the door. How does it make sense? Can the Trapper reset traps even though we're standing over them?
Not to mention desync has messed me up twice when trying to disarm them, so it can just be rotten luck.

He has a red add-on that allows traps to reset once every 30 seconds. Is that what you're describing?

If he was standing there physically resetting it, yes that's a thing he can do. As for the desync I know what you mean, had a match where I went to disarm at the gate, a good 5m away from the switch but it vacuumed me to the switch instead of the trap.

Trapper is usually considered a low tier killer but some of his addons are really broken.
This "every-30-seconds-open-random-trap-add-on" is actually op because it basically allows him to permanently trap all safe loops on the map.
Other add-ons like "injuring the disarming survivor" or "put the freed survivor in the dying state" are dumb too.

Yes, he can set/reset traps where you're standing
Also has add-on that will reset random closed trap every 30 seconds. This one got me at a gen I was working on one time. 😂

No. The Trapper literally kept resetting the trap on me while I was opening the door. Plus, rather than disarm the trap the command made me open the door and step in it.

Except when I'm playing Trapper, because I'll be trying to trap at their feet as they're in a locker or are trapped in a corner, and it always lets them out somehow, go through my body and everything.
