Lord Please Have Mercy
This is more of just a rant and has probably been said a billion times but..
..this MMR test is so 😩bad😩. Every single game I get Megheads who go down in 2 seconds, Claudettes that crouch behind rocks and Dweets that hide in lockers. Every. Single Game. I'm honestly thinking about just getting off until the 48 hours is up, because my god has it been painful to play.
I mean.. you can see how serious I am right? I complained about Dweets, the most beautiful creature in DBD. I never do that.
Anywaaays.. I hope you all have been having better games than I've been.
(I'm also aware that this was just a test & it takes time to place you where you should be.. but jeeez)
Edit: Oh yeah.. this is my 1000th post🤗

This is really interesting because my games were actually decent with matchmaking. There was one game with megheads and a game with a god spirit, but those were the only 2 unfair ones i think.
Also congrats on the 1000 posts! 🤗

Thank you friend :)
and you should play the lottery if you're that lucky because I can't remember a single good game today. Happens to the best of us I guess😔

My games were either full of rank 16 survivors, or absolute sweatfest with red ranks. No in between
Also played my first game with Trapper in my life and got rank 5s swf. They were just memeing so it was fine, probably were expecting noob killer too.
As for survivor games, mostly all killer players were really low ranks and obviously new to the game. Teammates were a mix of new players with barely any perks and full meta perk loaded high ranks.

Exactly. It's not fun playing against noob killers either, as I forgot to mention in my post.
Honestly, this whole thing has taken me back to when I first started DBD and was in brown ranks.. and I must say that I'm so glad I'm out of it (when matchmaking is normal that is..)

The problem is that they reset the mmr for this test ending in this potential chaos again. And in my eyes, two days are not even close to enough for especially a reset system to get sufficient data. It's like a hard elo reset at the beginning of a ranked season in league of legends (which they thankfully don't do every year anymore) where in the first day up to two WEEKS matchmaking is a clusterfu*.
Or they wanted not to see what the data shows but how their system acquires the data or something but then they should say so, that we are again (ab)used as guinea pigs for simply beta testing and shouldn't expect anything from it.

Am i really the only one who had decent matches? Sure, there were some bad matches, where survivors disconnected on the first hit. But thats about it. Wasn´t as sweaty as before the test. Both sides red ranks.

I envy you.

I wonder how many of them are hiding like that just because of their own teammates and expecting the same sort of behavior from them or even having them trying to drop off the killer on other survivors if they've been having a lot of super sweatshop killers lol.

uhm.. you were writing the OP in present form but the test was already over for almost a day?
edit: nvm probably just edited the post later.

My matches during mmr seemed to be extremely unbalanced. Not in just one direction. One match the killer would have 2 survivors out before a single gen got completed. The next match all 4 survivors world escape with the killer barely getting a couple hooks

MMR ended 22 hours ago

I forgot to clarify that I had wrote this discussion before it ended and wanted to post it for feedback.

Funnily enough, I had my first ever match where I was matched with survivors that were all actually my rank.
One time.
The rest of them, yeah. I can see where the newest MMR concept build needs a few... adjustments.
