Getting extreme amounts of lag as well. Playing Nemesis on ps4. Freezes every couple seconds and when using the tentacle strike. Would be a great chapter otherwise. Disappointed so far

It is not a ME problem and a look down general discussion would reveal that other people are having this issue.
Also my game crashed after dropping to 3 frames, so that’s pretty epic.

I'm on ps4 and the performance is horrible. It's as bad as last fall when the game was unplayable after one of the patches. Please BHVR fix this BEFORE the anniversary event.

I can't even get into a match. Keep getting booted while it's loading. But the lobby ping indicator is always in the yellow. So, seems to be a server issue.

Oh yeah, let me spend 800 USD on a new console to play a 5 year old game.
The Devs promised in 2019 to get 60 FPS on Xbox One and PS4
And for the record, people have started to report performance issues on high-end PC's and the next-gen Console's.

Is it just against Nemesis or the new map etc?
Or anything is causing it to be that bad?
Still waiting to see before I waste money on something that doesn’t work but this was my fear.

I've played 2 matches so far, both against Nemesis. First match was on new map and it was horrible with the freezes. Second was on Game map, slightly better but still unplayable. I don't know if I'll play many matches to see if it gets better with old killers on old maps.

I'm having the same issue as well. At one point my game even glitched out and then closed it entirely. :/

On pc with good specs getting 120 frames but halfway through the match i just start stuttering with no frame drops not sure what is happening. Happens while playing Nemesis. This did not happen last night.

Xbox is having the same issue too. It sucks, the update is honestly great and I love it, just wish I could actually play it though lmao

800 usd yeah it’s only 350 pounds lol & I mean I have loads of games to play so I don’t just play dead by daylight so buying a new console was worth the price... but the PS4 pro version runs fine aswell ? If it’s the old console and to be fair they came out in 2012 -2013 we are in 2021 you can’t be expecting them to run games as smooth as they were especially now game devs are optimising for next gen & pcs.... did you see cyberpunk..... 🤣 need I say anymore
me and my friend are both on a ps5 and have no encounter any issues at all... maybe we are just lucky

There’s a difference between retail and market price, anyone who knows basic economics knows this. There’s a huge microchip shortage so consoles are in short demand, hence market price is around $700-$800.
And let’s not even act for a second like Cyberpunk and DbD are even remotely close to requiring the same amount of processing power to run smoothly.
Stop being so condescending and try to pay attention to what people are actually saying. It doesn’t take a longer than a minute to see a forum post with over 1100 replies on the front page all complaining about poor optimization.

I get lag out the ass when I play on the new map. Choppier than a PowerPoint presentation. PC by the way, so you can't just blame it on console optimization.

I have been choppy while playing nemesis in both matches i played on dead dawg and swamp. On pc with no frame drops just massive stuttering and chopping

No I havnt I’m one to usually complain about Optimisation but I have not had issues I was actualy saying the devs have done a very good job with making it play better never played it so smooth and it looks pretty maybe I’m just lucky,
is it as bad as the update that came out a while ago a literally BROKE PS4 it was unplayable that was painful

I just had a crash that counted as a DC, hopefully they fix this soon, because at this rate you're risking a ban for playing.

3 matches as survivor - 1st Nemesis on new map, 2nd Nemesis on Game map, 3rd Trapper on new map. All 3 were just nonstop freezing randomly, worst freezes coincided with the triggers that normally cause FPS drops on console. The worst freeze is when all gens complete and exits activate, guessing because multiple notification bubbles at once.

I agree. Beyond the random freezes and lag this killer is way too overpowered. From the zombies that literally run you off of gens and healing to the new map being incredibly large and hard to navigate for no ungodly reason. This game is literally only playable at the moment if you play killer. Like I get that it’s asymmetrical but the seesaw is touching the ground for killers right now.

The lag is on PC too. i had extreme lag in the second match that my whole screen freezes at the end of it.

Me: PC, specs above min requirements, lowest video settings. Fps fluctuates around 50-80 depending on realm.
RSPD:
Also up to 5-6 sec complete freezes when trying to use M2 as killer.
