Why does every chapter release have to be a disaster?

First frame rate drops now the servers are down. No other game that I can think of has something bad happen every major update. What is going on?

The only thing I can think of at this point is their internal region(s) to develop and test must differ heavily from production. It’s the only reason I can think of why they release things that actively break the game on every release - their testing servers are fundamentally different in some way. It’s that or they just have no QA at all.

Because people continue to line their pockets so they don't take the time and effort to optimize and work on game health.

it's unfortunately just half the truth:

it's the investors. They want to see a plus every quarter, so there's no time for proper tested chapters every 6 months or so.

Because they don’t know how to code this game properly

Because no matter what happens, the people experiencing problems always complain (as they should). Due to the nature of software, it's virtually impossible to launch anything more complex than "Hello World" that's 100% bug-free. The complaints give you the impression that every launch is a disaster because people who are enjoying the content are too busy, y'know, enjoying the content to come to the forum and complain.
