I'm sorry but this killer is SEVERELY lacking.
I'd like someone to explain how he can be "good" because I just don't get it.
For starters, we have a killer whose ability does not punish survivors. If Nemesis hits a survivor, they just lose the ability to tank a tentacle/zombie hit. This means it takes 3 M2 hits to down a survivor instead of 2. No other killer needs 3 M2 hits to down a survivor. Now, you can argue that using his ability grants extended range/ pallet breaking powers, but the tentacles can't even fully reach over most low-obstacles. Additionally, breaking pallets manually takes approximately the same amount of time as breaking them with a Tentacle.
Now take Plague, for example, She infects a survivor. If a survivor is fully infected, they are one-shot and can spread it to other survivors.
Now take Nemesis. He infects a survivor with his tentacle. Survivor remains uninjured, gets a speed boost, and isn't incentivized to use the vaccine unless they want to be able to tank another tentacle/zombie hit without punishment. And if a zombie infects them, Nemesis gets nothing in return. It feels as though the devs wanted to give survivors a 3rd health state, similar to Endurance. I didn't play Resident Evil so I'm not sure how the T-virus works there, but it definitely isn't good in this game.
Also, He has no map pressure unless you count the zombies (which barely apply pressure, and can easily get caught on trees/rocks). And he's large so mind-gaming with him on certain loops is even more difficult.
As someone who has gotten to Rank 1 on Killer and Survivor, Nemesis brings nothing new to the game (aside from AI).
Now I'm not gonna say buff X or change Y, because that's not my job nor my specialty but the devs should really reevaluate how this killer works. All I'm saying is there is no reason to play this killer unless you're a die-hard Resident Evil fan.
There are so many other killers who can do what he does better. If Pyramid Head got 2 zombies, and his M2 could break through pallets, then I'm 100% sure he would be a replica of Nemesis.
end rant/

Pyramid would be better because he isn't denied by even low wall loops

if ur going to comment on how a killer is 'SEVERELY lacking' but can't be bothered to even say what should be changed then i literally don't understand what ur point of this post was... the only killers with decent map pressure are spirit, nurse, and arguably billy... not every killer they are going to release is going to have some insane power that is able to teleport across the map and stop a gen from popping.
if u think a killer needs to be reworked bc they lack 'gen pressure' then u either need to be usng better perks or stop tunnelng and pressure survivors off gens

As I said in one of my own threads, Nemesis is the worst combination of plague, pyramid head, and Myers.
For one his contamination has no incentives to cure it other than tanking another hit as you said.
His tentacle lash is cucked by low objects that it should be able to hit over. That and the range is garbage until tier 3. Even then it only adds one extra meter.
And the zombies are so inconsistent that they might as well be solo que teammates in AI form.

His power is pretty dope imo
Its very powerful for shutting down loops where his tentacle can reach over low tiles like in autohaven or the fences on haddonfield. Plus his ability to clear pallets is like tier 3 brutal strength.
Add to that the zombies which you can use to zone survivors in chase and hes almost oppressive in the hands of a good killer.

Being aware of the issues that need to be fixed is step one of fixing said issues, if you didn't know.
Also, powerful chase-oriented killers have pressure built in as well. It's difficult to do gens when half the team is down (or at least that should be the case).
Nemesis suffers from some of the biggest issues of some of the weakest killers, albeit downplayed to an extent. He has a poorly implemented "anti-loop" that is barely helpful, is particularly weak early on in the match but lacks the snowballing power required to make that meaningful, a good deal of his power pretty much only exists to force a feeling of "agency" onto survivors without actually delivering a form of counterplay (and just making him weaker overall instead), and his tentacle strike has an extremely small and janky hitbox.
He sacrifices so much just to have the zombies, but they're even more RNG dependent than Jigsaw's Baptism. Just like with Pig, the Random Number Gods decide whether the power is almost nonexistent or if it destroys the rank 20s the killer was put up against. Anything other than brown rank solo-queue survivors don't have much trouble with these two.
Even worse is that his tentacle whip is nearly recycled from Pyramid Head, but made worse for some reason. Any survivor that can deal with the Executioner can easily deal with Nemmy.

The issue of lacking gen pressure (for all killers) is one of survivor spawns. But on the subject of Nemesis: one of his abilities needs to be buffed. Whether that's enhanced distance on the tentacle, autodamage on the first tentacle hit, better zombie AI, etc. He has bits and pieces of everything, but he excels at nothing to the point that he falls flat.

Yeah I frankly dont understand the logic behind all the dumb ppl saying nemsis is strong.

Meh, I like him. He needs minor changes that's for sure, but other than that his power is really fun and has one unique part of it: zombies. They're very useful for tracking and hell I've even gotten survivors instadowned out of pure luck with those damn things.

Poison and T-Virus work essentially the same in RE but no one has died from TV (main characters) and the only game you get infected with the T-Virus is classic Resident Evil Nemesis, but it only renders you injured. You can still heal.Any one that isn't a main character probably becomes a zombie. If you're poisoned you can die from it,but only certain enemy types have poison

Pyramid and nemesis aren't really that close. He's more comparable to demo with a shorter range and PH zoning kinda ability and agile pallet breaking ability. He can get a hit even before PH finishes putting his sword on the ground, let alone launching a slow shockwave that is based on prediction compared to nemmy's attack which are more based on reaction.

Hey Olivia! I'm not sure if someone M2'd in your cereal but if you read my post you'd see the part where I said that's not my job nor my specialty. This post was meant to bring awareness to his weaknesses. In fact, I'm 100% sure that if I proposed some buffs (which I won't cuz that's not my job), then the "oMg yOuR KiLlEr/sUrVivOr SiDeD" maniacs would join this discussion and I feel as though you may be one of them.
Additionally, if you took some time to critically think you'd realize that map pressure plays a big part in how well a killer does. There is a reason why Spirit, Nurse, Freddy, Twins, Oni work at a high rank.
Now, am I saying he should be able to teleport? No. I'm saying he is lacking in the power department.

Nurse, spirit, oni, blight, freddy, demo, billy, huntress, hag all have good map control. Missed a few there

I focus my attention on pallets and not survivors, I intentionally aim at the pallet when a uninfected survivor vaults, Save The Best For Last is great on him and he plays a lot like pallet shred Demo but with zombies instead of portals and an easier to handle pallet break fatigue.

I think the first way to help Nemesis is to remove the sprintburst from the survivor after the first attack with the tentacle (contamination). Since they didnt take any damage.
