Self-Care Prioritized Over Other Actions [PC]
There seems to be a new issue with Self-Care's priority in the latest patch.
In the past few days, I have noticed that Self-Care is being temporarily prioritized over pretty much any other M1 now. There's a sort of phantom flicker where you will see the prompt for whatever action you're intending to do, but Self-Care will briefly replace that action as you press M1, which results in self-caring instead of doing the other action.
For instance, when I open a chest/vaccine box while I'm injured, if I don't wait for the flicker, pressing M1 will start self-care instead of collecting the item. The 'flickering' is easiest to see when you finish with a chest, but this problem is happening all over. Even simply picking an item off the ground now requires waiting or else it will force a self-care. This would just be a minor nuisance if accidentally self-caring for that one millisecond didn't automatically de-activate DS. But it does. And that makes this new quirk extremely annoying to the point that those two perks are rather incompatible for the moment.
That said, this is still a pain even if you're not running DS. In one match, I let go of an exit gate so the killer would have to hit instead of grabbing me, and the gate was nearly open so I just had to do a quick tap to escape. Naturally, instead of finishing the gate and escaping, I started self-caring right in front of the killer! As you can guess... I didn't survive that match.
I really hope this is unintentional. It's the opposite of a QOL improvement.
