I’m gonna sound like a dad when I say this but
I’m not even mad at this point I’m just disappointed. You had lightning in a bottle with resident evil coming to the game. Bringing in a ton of new players, adding a new map. And of course you have characters as iconic as nemesis and Leon and Jill. Sure there were a few problems but I genuinely thought for once the PTB might actually be useful. And now that it’s gone live…. I genuinely think this is worse than what we got with the twins and trickster put together. Because at the very least we knew those two were gonna be trash the moment the PTB was released. And on top of the bugs. You released a new map and it was so broken it literally couldn’t even last a day. I just have to ask. Did you even try?

At this point, there's no use getting mad. It is clear BHVR is more interested in pumping content out than making sure said content works. It's unfortunate as I'm sure most players would agree this game DESPERATELY needs a content break so they can fix all the stuff that is broken but I'm not going to hold my breath for it.
BHVR is what they are. Like the scorpion on the frog's back, it's in their nature to do this, even if it'll make them drown their own game eventually...

It’s just such a letdown. This is the first time I can remember where the main thing I was looking forward to was the killer. With twins and trickster I was more waiting for the buffs and nerfs that came with them but here I was genuinely excited. I guess I had it coming for getting my hopes up

Yeah the first impression for all the RE Fans that got DbD just to play one of the Iconic chars was... well... bad. (and i´m being as positive as possible here)

They won't suffer if they keep up their Twitter thing and getting more licenses. People need to spread how BHVR works around the industry so nobody wants to sell to them.

The only thing that could make BHVR step it up at this point I feel is competition. BHVR owns their genre and they know it. So they lack that incentive to make the game the best it can be.

This is also correct, but LY was plagued with setback after setback and Hide or Die didn't work out. Resident Evil Resistance also died off fairly fast.
Identity V, mobile only and only attracts teenage girls as a result who only play Survivor because they can play with their friends.
Home Sweet Home... they added a Thai Youtuber as a Survivor. I don't think it will get better.

They had the June 15th deadline and they were afraid to delay it.
But who knows, maybe they are in desperate need to push content every 3 months, otherwise they would go bankrupt?
