An idea to improve the Trickster's Main Event power

So the Trickster is really fun. But Main Event feels very clunky, and I think it's because of the significant delay to use.

I noticed when playing him that Main Event is charged by landing blades; however, once it is charged, you have to unequip the blades to activate it, which is a 1.25 second cooldown I believe. The, once activated, it's about a 1.25 second wind-up animation before the power actually begins.

This feels super weird, as you basically have to go from throwing blades, back to bat, back to throwing blades again, so for nearly 3 seconds survivors are running away and gaining distance while you are trying to activate this power. I lose multiple survivors to the exit gate in a game trying to fumble through the buttons and animations to trigger Main Event, and by the time I cancelled out of the animation they had crawled through the barrier to leave.

I feel like it would be better if we could trigger Main Event while in throwing blade state, that seems to make more sense anyways. I know it would kind of mess up the animations they have for it right now, but it would feel way less awkward to use.

    I don't think you have to put the blades down to trigger Main Event, just press left control while you have them up (and Main Event is charged) and it'll activate.

    Remove it and focus on his normal knife throwing

    I will check it again, but when I tried it the option to activate didn't work until I put down normal knives. I play on ps4, so idk if that changes anything.

    Honestly I think this is all I want for it. Maybe also not include the stun at the end of it, but that might be pushing it a bit.

    • Let him hold onto it for as long as he likes, like Meyers T3, Oni's Blood Fury, Doctor's Static Shock, Freddy's teleport, Legion's Feral Frenzy, or almost any other power in the game. The only power I can think of that diminishes is Plague's blood-puke, but you get to choose when to pick that up. If you don't they just stay there, waiting for you. There is zero reason why his alt power attack should be locked into some absurd 'use it or lose it' window
    • Have it apply a speed buff WITHOUT playing the animation. It just turns on and you start throwing way faster (and not losing knives)

    Easy fix.

    His Main Event has so many limitations it's kinda absurd if you think about it:

    • Small window to activate,
    • Wind up time before activating,
    • A stun at the end,
    • Removes your ability to use knifes again for a short period.
