Trapper Add-on Pass Ideas
I went on a brainstorming spree with Trapper.
I found that there's a lot of room for creativity in his add-ons so I went nuts! While perusing through his arsenal, I noticed two things: not that many lore-based add-ons, and the fact that there's several of the same "type" of add-on (in this case: coils, tools, bags, etc.) spanning across each rarity. So, I took inspiration from Doctor's add-ons, which have a consistent passive effect (illusionary pallets, heartbeat, etc.) and an extra effect to strengthen the Killer overall. However, since Trapper is focused on Bear Traps, I decided to go the Cannibal route and make his add-ons all have unique, gimmicky effects to support different playstyles (without making them garbage). I hope it isn't too overwhelming.
Stats for Reference
All these numbers are the same regardless of the tier. They can be stacked as well.
- Bag add-ons increase how many traps you carry (and spawn with) by 2.
- Coil add-ons increase how long it takes for Survivors to disarm a trap by 50%, or 1.75 seconds. (Base: 3.5 seconds)
- Setter add-ons increase how fast you set traps by 25%, or 0.375 seconds. (Base: 1.5 seconds, excluding crouch and stand animations)

Common
Trapper Sack
- Start with and carry 2 extra Bear Traps.
(NEW) Cleft Mining Helmet
A cracked mining helmet fastened with a broken headlamp, blood encrusting the damaged area. Obviously, it failed to protect the head of its wearer.
- Replaces Trapper Gloves.
- While carrying a Survivor, all Survivors' attempts to escape a Bear Trap will result in failure. (And also won't count towards the maximum six escape attempts)
- This effect persists for an additional 6 seconds after the Survivor is no longer carried.
(NEW) Detonator
The very dynamite detonator Evan used to trap hundreds of men in the mines. A reminder of his unequivocal servitude to his father.
- Replaces Strong Coil Spring.
- Your movement speed is increased by 5% while a Survivor is caught in a Bear Trap.
Padded Jaws
- UNCHANGED. But in case you forgot...
- Bear Traps do not damage Survivors.
- Trapping Survivors awards 100% more bloodpoints.
Uncommon
Trapper Bag
- Start with and carry 2 extra traps.
- You pick up trapped Survivors 15% faster.
Trap Setters
- Increases trap setting speed by 25%.
Serrated Jaws
- Survivors caught in a Bear Trap suffer from Mangled and Hemorrhage until healed.
(NEW) Picture Frame
A framed photo of Evan and his father, Archie MacMillan, during his youth; their expressions devoid of emotion. Evan feared a smile would make him appear weak in front of his father.
- Replaces Logwood Dye.
- Reduces your terror radius by 12 meters while carrying at least one Bear Trap.
4-Coil Spring Kit
- Increases trap disarming time by 50%.
- Decreases trap rescue and escape time by 20%.
Rare
Stitched Bag
- Now Rare.
- Start with and carry 2 extra traps.
- Survivors you grab out of Bear Traps become your obsession.
Wax Brick
- UNCHANGED.
- Reduces the chances of Survivors escaping a Bear Trap on their own by 5%. (from 16.67%)
Tar Bottle
- UNCHANGED.
- Darkens all Bear Traps.
Setting Tools
- Increases trap setting speed by 25%.
- The locations of trapped Survivors, including their auras, are not shown to allied Survivors.
- Trapped Survivors suffer from Blindness.
Oily Coil
- Now Rare.
- Increases trap disarm time by 50%.
- When a Survivor frees themself from a Bear Trap, their aura is revealed to you for 6 seconds.
- If the Survivor is rescued, their rescuer is revealed as well.
Very Rare
Rusted Jaws
- Now Very Rare.
- Hitting a trapped Survivor with a basic attack inflicts Broken for 90 seconds.
Secondary Coil
- Now Very Rare.
- Increases trap disarm time by 50%.
- When a Bear Trap is disarmed, it will automatically rearm itself after 10 seconds.
- This effect only occurs once each time the Bear Trap is set.
Honing Stone
- UNCHANGED.
- Survivors that free themselves from a Bear Trap are immediately downed.
Fastening Tools
- Increases trap setting speed by 25%.
- When grabbing a Survivor out of a trap, the trap automatically rearms itself after 8 seconds.
Ultra Rare
Iridescent Stone
- For QoL, otherwise unchanged.
- Every 30 seconds, a random unarmed Bear Trap will become armed on its own.
- The aura of the next Bear Trap to be set by this add-on will turn yellow.
Bloody Coil
- Increases trap disarm time by 50%.
- When a healthy Survivor disarms a trap, the trap breaks for 45 seconds and the Survivor gets injured.

I would swap Rusted Jaws with Setting tools (their secondary effect) in their rarity, but other than that this looks great.

Yeah, I figured Rusted Jaws would be one of the weaker ones but I can’t really swap it with Setting Tools because then there would be two tool add-ons in the same rarity.
