Its been well over a year since we had a full Blood Hunt event. What gives?
Why the ######### are the devs that focused on making this game as grindy as possible?

I just don't understand the point of rushing through this game for a certain perk or achievement or whatever. The game is, by design, meant to be played over and over and over. It doesn't have to be a grind unless you make it that way.

having to play as lvl 1 killers is not ######### fun
the game is meant to be fun, grinding for hours so you can get a perk to have a chance at winning as killer is not fun

"BP economy"

One could always hook up a IV to your computer so as to have unlimited bp of course thats until your undead.

The grind is the reason a lot of people stick around.

I shall only accept a Blood Feast. No more, no less.

There's no difference between a level 1 killer and a level 50 killer, other than perks and items.
I get what you're saying but my point is that if you're rushing through the game just to get your hands on the upgrade stuff, then you're skipping past hours upon hours of gameplay that could definitely be fun. It's all in how you look at it. I enjoyed the process of leveling up my characters. Do I have more fun now that the ones I use have a bunch of cool stuff? Sure. But that doesn't mean that the game was so radically different when I didn't have that stuff that I couldn't stand to play.

The problem here though is thinking that winning or losing is dependent on a perk. They compliment a strategy. They SOMETIMES decide a win, not the majority of the time.

I disagree.
Playing without gen regression is extremely difficult, very stressful and certainly not fun.
There is NO reason the grind should be this bad. If BHVR is worried people will leave without the grind being here, maybe that's a sign that they need to work on getting more content.

To be fair, the game is practically designed around killers needing to run at least one slow-down perk. It's not necessarily about winning but about having time to participate in the match. On the Switch my matches are going by super fast in part because I don't have any slow-down perks, and so no one in my matches is really earning any BP.
The grind sucks. My friend got the game on Switch so he can play with me, he's not enjoying the grind and I'm trying to help him out, and I actually kinda wish I could go back in time and stop him from buying the game because I don't think it's worth this.
There is no way this stupid grind doesn't chase away new players. It's so disheartening to wait in a queue, play a match that ends way too fast, and then find out how few Bloodpoints you earned for the thing, because even if you maxed out at 32k BP that's still nothing in terms of the Bloodweb and for those fast matches it's more like 10k BP on average.
