Nemmy is such a fun and decent killer. The perks are really well-designed and fun, and the addition of limited items is awesome. However, I'm not a big fan of the map (yet), but we'll see once it rereleases.
Tbh the big issue is the update, not the chapter itself.

Disregarding the map-specific issues as not too relevant, this is the first release without major game-breaking bugs in a long, long while.

Most of it in general was to my liking, the survivors, the Classic Jill cosmetics, Leon in Spain and the legendary skins too, I just need to complete my list by buying Jill and Leon, since Chris and Claire have bought them. the character of Nemesis, I thought they would be based on the original version but it was the remake, which for me is valid. The only thing I feel is that the power of Nemesis is very basic, 2 zombies on the map is almost nothing. Tier-3 should be have more skill compared to increasing the maximum speed of the tentacle attack.

Looking past what happened with the map. I wouldn’t say this is the worst chapter ever. I just expected better, for whatever reason.

The game is next to unplayable on consoles and lower-end pc's, the first new map in like a year is disabled, the legendary skin debacle, multiple really bad bugs (invisible walls on the Temple of Purgation, Blight losing his power, Clown's bottles not doing anything.)
Overall, this has probably been one of if not the worst chapter in dbd's history.

The content has been amazing. The game performance is what made this chapter a disappointment.

Content wise, Nemesis' power is amazing which provides unique gameplay with the zombies and the infection, his perks are fairly decent as well compared to recent chapters, and Nemesis was a great choice for the Resident Evil chapter.
For the survivors, it's good that we got 2, I'm sure many were expecting it, along with some interesting perks being brought with them such as the flashbang.
And for the map (when it was up) looked amazing however was fairly difficult to navigate and I often found myself getting lost, however this is more of the case of needing to get used to the map.
Bugs are are always to be expected with new updates, but they can always be fixed, and when looking back on a chapter you're not really going to think about that. But content wise, I would say this was an impressive chapter.

Is everyone that voted positive a PC player? Nemesis has ruined the game, every time he gets near me the game glitches for 3 to 5 seconds. I either stand still or run into something because I have no control of my survivor for that time. I cannot dodge, vault drop or anything else, I am just at the mercy of getting hit.
Please for the love of god fix the console version of this game. Just fix something, anything that might make this update worth it.

I've got mixed feelings about the update. I'll get the positives out of the way first.
First off, it's Resident Evil, one of the biggest names in horror. That alone is cool, even as someone who isn't that familiar with the series. The characters look amazing, the map looks gorgeous when it's enabled and the perks for both sides are pretty fun.
On the other hand... Nemesis is an absolute mess. As a Survivor, I've been slapped directly in the face by a tentacle and nothing happened on one occasion, and I've been 5 feet away from it and got knocked to the ground on more occasions. As Killer, I struggle to get any tentacle hits period. Even with Trickster, by the time I was level 10, I had gotten TWO 4ks under my belt PRE-BUFF. With Nemesis, I've gotten a total of two kills, in separate games, both in the endgame. This may just be me not being good at very precise Killers (because I'm not), but still. I've done better with the widely considered weakest killer ever made before he got buffed. The zombies are so inconsistent. I've had ONE match where they actually did some damage (on a farm map, surprisingly), but they get stuck on bushes more than not. As a Survivor, they're annoying, but nothing more. And the map is a nightmare to navigate.
I know this looks more negative than positive, but I feel the positive even out the negatives. My opinion IS more negative than positive, but not enough to really vote negative.

The chapter itself and it's contents is one of the best we've ever gotten. Now, the patch on the other hand... BOY OH BOY, what even happened?

At this point game is bassicly unplayable on the consoles. So yes i have negative fellings about this WHOLE update. Nemesis is pretty decent but needs some fixes: reduce speed burst when survivor is hit by the tentacle, fix zombies A.I, Make tentacle hitbox a little bit bigger and slighty reduce cooldown between tentacle attack.

Better then all kill but that's a pretty easy bar to clear. Don't really care for Nem, I gave him a solid chance played him for over 20ish games and in his current state I just don't like him. The perks introduced are pretty okay for the most part, none are really meta defining but I'm okay with that.
Now then onto why I actually think its a negative gain as a whole, performance has been terrible people have been getting kicked from games randomly, game is apparently near unplayable for some on older consoles.
Not too mention, many new bugs to enjoy WAHOO, Blights power is even more bugged now, clowns bottles aren't working properly either, weird pallet bugs too(not very impactful just weird) and more.
The new map hasn't even released yet and its been almost a week since the chapter came out and that's a good thing because it looks like its gonna quickly become one of my least favorite maps to play on for most of my killers.
Call me a nitpicker or a complainer but the chapter was highly disappointing to me and I really wanted to like it.

It's hard for me to stay positive about this chapter because all of the issues that came with it. The game is near unplayable on console, The first new map we've had in forever gets disabled, and there's a bunch of bugs. It's pretty disappointing.

Content-wise definitely positive. Love the choice of characters and the perks are all interesting and/or fun! Would have liked another version of Chris and Claire’s face/eyes are weird but I don’t really care for legendary Chars either way.
Technical problems, map, performance issues, server problems etc were and are obviously bad. But those were not intended and will be fixed soon (hopefully…), would have left a more bitter taste if I was affected by it and I can understand anyone that’s more than disappointed by this!

It now runs better on my laptop than my Ps5. Dev's, please buy a console for testing.

I think Nemesis is really underwhelming. His power set is mechanically essentially jus a straight up worse version of Pyramid Head, and it doesn't represent his character very well. Where's his sprinting? Where's his weaponry? Bursting through walls? Nope, nope, and nope.
Also, the remake designs for Jill and Nemesis are both hot garbage. To add further insult, Jill's "classic" shop cosmetic looks barely anything like her actual classic RE3 design, and Nemesis doesnt even get his classic RE3 design at all!

Really? It doesn't seem so bad on Series S

So I have heard. In the nicest possible way, I wish it affected XBox users too as I can't see them putting effort into an issue that only effects one platform. Look how Nintendo switch players have been ignored.

It's best DLC after long time, never seen that much bugs in just one DLC.

The Resident Evil Chapter was great, but the bugs this chapter concluded within the update reminded me about THAT one chapter that got released before All-Kill.

On one side, the killer and survivors have some fun perks, and the zombies are actually a really fun idea, which I hope is a sign of more AI-type enemies.
On the other hand, the optimisation is rather bad, and it's a shame about the map having problems.
I'm neutral, but what is concerning was how big this chapter was for the game and the problems could put a severe dent in the expected long-term players this chapter may have brought in. I really hope they understand how important it is now to improve optimisation.

The chapter itself is nice, but there are so many bugs that came with this release...
