instead i think there should be more ways to kick gens....

    examples:

can damage gens with hits, regular regression.

damage gens with kicks, applies perks & regression speed doubled.

Not saying gens are never an issue, but having to hold M1 for more than 80 seconds is definitely not the answer.

No there have to be other ways to make the matches feel not as rushed for killer side without making them even more dull for the survivor side.

No, because that'd be boring as #########.

There are other ways to slow down trials.

Increasing repair time on gens means making solo-queue even more unbearable than it is right now.

Making players hold M1 even longer is simply bad design.

    Give all killers basekit slowdown.

Make kicking gens actually worth the investment.

Gens are boring as hell, no one wants to spend more time on them. The devs need to come up with creative ways to not only extend matches but make them more fun for everyone.

Gens should be slowed down, but it shouldnt just be a raw time increase. A better way would be something like having generator parts scatterred around the map that need to be found and installed before they can be repaired. There's ben a lot of suggestions like that.

They should instead incentivize survivors to group up instead of splitting up. Make their be a penalty for working solo, and remove that penalty for working in a pair or greater, then, of course, rework Prove Thyself accordingly. This'll make it to where killers'll almost always scare two survivors off instead of just one, while also not affecting solo q play all too much but completely altering how survivors repair at higher levels of skill.

Kicking a gen inflicting some instant regression as well would also be a nice touch, maybe 5% insta regression and nerf Pop by 5% to compensate.

It should be increased by 5% for every SWF to a max of 15% increased repair time. E.g.: Solo=0/ Duo=5%/ Trio=10%/ and quad=15%. This wouldn't hurt these four man study-and-memerize-every-aspect-of-the-game-and-exploit-it TEAMS, but would make them more manageable.

Increasing the numbers is clearly not the solution. What the game needs is another main objective, or some kind of cooldown between gens being finished (for example, when a gen is done, no other gen can be completed in the next 30/40 seconds, or something along those lines).

No, but I'm still down for improvements to Surge or Oppression
