My best friend is gay. So i can understand why you feel attacked. But you shouldn´t. Again, this isn´t a war. This is a game forum where we should discuss game related things, not politics.
And this is where you've already said something wrong because LGBT+ people existing isn't political.
I think (correct me if i´m wrong) the whole pride thing is about inclusion. Not exclusion. So attacking the people that want you no harm, will lead nowhere.
Pride is about being inclusive and fighting for the rights of LGBT+ people internationally, bettering their lives and ensuring equality, with the second aspect being more important than the first considering the first Pride was literally a riot in the UK against police. So, if an LGBT+ person tells you maybe don't say something, because it helps to continue the prejudice against them, maybe listen. Particularly if multiple people do so.
It's perfectly fine to intend no harm, but then to continue doubling down on something after you're told it's not great to say it is where the issue lies. It shows that you're not willing to change how you act, even if it's either explicitly or implicitly contributing to the continued discrimination and stereotypes today. That's where the issue is.
And don´t worry, i won´t call you son again.

I´m terrible at linking things, but with "this isn´t the place for politics" i was referring to your comment on page 3. Where you said something about "show me a country where, etc."
You see, protesting is good. Its actually great to protest peacefully or starting a discussion where everyone can express his opinion and everyone feels like their voice and opinion is heard.
Riots on the other hand aren´t exactly great, as they hurt mainly innocent people.
Change should be achieved by dialogue. Not by force. Because violence only leads to more violence.
With that being said, i´m not going to respond anymore to this thread, as i have a feeling that this is a already heated discussion. Which could escalated to quickly.

It certainly is for people who are still finding out about themselves. And it’s not even excluding heterosexuality on its own, you can be heterosexual and be a proud supporter for the LGBTQ+ community!
there is only a problem with ‚straight pride‘ as this is a term that was explicitly created as an attack against the LGBTQ+ pride. There is nothing directly wrong with being proud of who you are no matter what sexuality you have or think you might have.

Straight people do not get killed on the streets or bullied or there rights taken away just for there sexuality. Please stop trying to make straight pride :).

I didn't even bother putting the charm on my Survivors till today. Probably for the best cause I been against the sewage tank of Killer players with some of the dumbest allies ever.
I did teabag a Chris getting mori'd by GF then tried to get mori'd on top of him. GF didn't approve of the sandwich and left me to bleed out. Rude asf.
My Trickster been rocking it though, ain't like people can punish me on Killer for having it on.

Absolutely, even if someone decides they're straight it's extremely important that they went through that whole ordeal.
Plus, it's not exactly like all of us have it sorted. Sexuality is... Pretty damn fluid for a lot of people, if we're being honest.

So I can't tell someone that saying "straight pride" in a thread specifically about LGBT+ pride month (again, first sentence) is a massive yikes, before telling them to see above as to why.

I always look forward to pride month, it's heart warming to see all other sexualities being acknowledged. I full heartily support the DBD devs for bringing light to this month, it spreads the awareness / importance to this month. ❤
Although I'm not LBGTQ+, I'm an ally and will always be there to support anyone regardless of their sexuality. 🏳️🌈

You can if you say whatever you want and then, like you did up above, bring up LGBT people and use them as your personal weapon and how they aaaaaaall totally agree with you. There are VERY good reasons to not like how you act. Your popular mindset is disrespectful in itself.
If people have an issue with how I act they can do what you're doing now and call me out. If they have valid claims I'll happily and publicly apologise for it- I know I do wrong and I'm not so arrogant as to never say sorry for it. That said, I'll apologise when someone brings a valid point forward, not whatever you're attempting to do here just because you dislike me and the fact that straight pride isn't what it says on the tin.
I mean, you haven't but you've spent time becoming everyone's favorite little darling. Which has clearly paid off, you have active people like Mooks jumping to your aid, proving that you are in fact shielded.
I never asked Mooks too and he has no obligation to. It's something he does of his own free will and when we disagree on topics we discuss it civilly (PS. telling someone to stop talking, not very civil). And again, I've never advertised myself as likeable so it's not like I'm trying to make everyone my best friend here lol.

of course he has his own issues as we have all. But I would not defend anything he says just because. I defend it if I stand for it as well. And in this case I do as I understand what straight pride stands for.
i am seeing you continually being disrespectful on a personal level towards GoodBoyKaru, not able to call him by his name (seriously, would you ever do this to anyone in person? Use an abbreviation of their name when they repeatedly told you not to?), you are calling him out because he is young(?!) and active on the forums. You even make up stuff that the mods would be biased towards him when they have shown to not be biased as their have been warnings and bans for people that seemingly were on good terms with the mods. If he would break forum rules he would get the appropriate consequences.

I wonder about that... Karu claims he's on excellent terms with the mods in the past, which is concerning. The mods more than likely share the same stances as Karu, they'll defend Karu's behavior.
Actually, no. I've recieved my warning and jail, as would anyone else, when I have broken rules on these forums and I'll gladly show proof on a different platform if you so desire. The mods are not biased towards me, and if they were then I wouldn't have been warned + jailed. I'm not on excellent terms with the mods, either, and nor have I claimed to be- I've said Rizzo's cats are cute and communicated with Mandy for clarification regarding how the forums work and the rules. I have no affiliation to the other mods or anyone else on the development team.
Also, I give up on the name thing. I even gave it to you to copy and paste (also I don't really care about the cases lol) but if you wanna keep going with it I physically cannot stop you. :/

Talking about pronouns, I always mess them up on accident. 😓
One of my friends is non-binary or bisexual, not sure which one it was [sorry, I get some sexualities confused so feel free to correct me], but I have to use They/Them when I reference them. However, I keep messing it up because it's just natural to use masculine / feminine to describe a person. I been getting better at getting it right and I feel so much better because I love acknowledging someone who's different — this isn't just limited to the LBGTQ+ community. ❤

I am not denying that Karu is passive-aggressive sometimes. He even says so himself. But at least in this case he explained why he did so and it was not a personal attack but an attack against the straight pride movement.
You on the other hand were just attacking Karu personally without contributing anything on the topic.
even if it was standard etiquette he explicitly asked you -and many others- to call him by the full name. And it’s really not hard to do so. Don’t pretend like it would be oh so long to type when in most cases you wouldn’t even need to type the name at all. the mods will not let Karu break forum rules. If they did everyone would be able to see it and they would lose their reputation or even worse. Just because he is on excellent terms with some Of the mods (pretty sure it’s not all of them) doesn’t mean he has any privileges.
