Killer idea "The Witch"

_"It would be nice if they introduced killers that have perks or special powers that allow them to kill without placing you on a hook. Just as an example, let's say our hypothetical killer is "the witch." When you play against her, you have three personal belongings of yours (A locket, a watch, a photo, etc. Something sentimentally connected to you) that are placed throughout the map for the witch to find. Should the witch manage to find all three belongings connected to one survivor, she can perform an incantation that would cast a curse on said survivor - what that curse would be would be randomly determined between an instant down, a permanent 20% nerf to repair speed, or say the ability to track said survivors aura for a full 30 seconds. The catch is, the survivors would also be able to find their associated belongings and hide them in a different spot if they know the witch saw or knows where it is.

The reason why I want something like this so bad as survivor is because it would give me something other to do than run around and press L1 all day long. It would add a much deeper layer to the game. I feel like you really don't have to pay attention or keep track of as many things as a survivor. I basically just run around to where I'm not likely to get ganked and do gens. Alternate kill methods for the killer that also place an extra objective on the survivors force us to think a little harder about what the killers next move is going to be instead simply "He's over there, so I'm going over here"

The only killer we have that comes close to filling this role in any capacity is the pig."_

I posted this in the survivor section and now have gotten kind of carried away with my imagination and want to elaborate more. So, we've covered her special power, which would be the ability to collect belongings of the survivor for an encantation that would apply an extremely serious negative effect. We'll call this power "Black magic"

Let's move on to her secondary power, which we'll call "Familiar" When the witch holds down right trigger, she has the ability to see through the eyes of a crow. She can use L1 while holding down right trigger to switch between different crows in the map to get a view for where survivors are. The catch is, the camera angle would be fixed on each crow. She wouldn't be able to turn and look around, and there would be a cool down of 5 seconds between alternation. She would have base 105% movement speed to balance out her anti-stealth abilities. There would be a limit of how many crow cameras she could use before the power takes its toll and kills the crow. Five of them would be placed in strategic places across the map.

Her three unique perks:

Urban legend: "Your story has been told and retold over the generations, no one really believes that you're anything other than a story to scare children, or a figment of their imagination" - Your terror radius is reduced to 0 for 15 seconds each time a generator is completed.

Unnatural fixation: "Your obsession with death and hatred of life animates you. For every injured survivor, the rate at which you gain bloodlust is increased, receiving one token per hit. Every time a successful heal is performed, a token is taken away. If all four survivors are injured, gain permanent bloodlust irrespective of whether you're in a chase or not. Effect immediately canceled upon heal."

Forgotten knowledge: "You possess ancient secrets lost to time." You have the power to reanimate destroyed hex totems. The option will not appear until after a full minute after said totems destruction, each time it is brought back it will respawn at a fraction of it's power, reduced by one tier. The time it takes to reanimate the totem will be equal to the time it takes to cleanse it.

I really have no idea about what kind of add ons she could have, I'll edit them in later once I can brainstorm a bit more, but I would really like to know what you think of the concept so far. Essentially, she's set up as an ambush killer. You would use the crows to stake out where you think the survivors are headed, smack as many people as possible to get bloodlust. You would be motivated to spread around the pain instead of staking out any single survivor. You would use urban legend to cut people off fleeing from recently completed generators, and you could pair forgotten knowledge with any hex totem of your choice to suit your play style. She would be best in the hands of more tactical killers who's strength relies in predicting survivors movement patterns and knowing their favorite hidey holes.

Counter play: She wouldn't be able to abuse the cameras because of their fixed angle and cool down switches, she would have to use her visions really wisely to catch quick glimpses and plan her actions. The cameras could also be used against her. Survivors could reasonably predict that a camera is in a certain area if she keeps returning to the same spot, even if it's counter inuitive, i.e. going across to the other side of the map despite being close to a location of a generator that's 50% done. Survivors could use one of the cameras to lure or bait her away or force her to burn through it.

Don't stay within eye shot of a crow, pay attention to where they are. Use stealth and play cautiously, don't just simply beam all across the map. Don't get greedy with generators, work on one for a bit and then hide to probe whether she has a crow in the area. Secondly, adapt: if you see that no one is being chased or taking aggro, she's likely looking for someone's belongings. One or two people best go and scout them out before she does.

Most importantly, altruistic teams would do the best against the witch. Her strength lies in her ability to separate survivors from eachother and stack up bloodlust to take down the stray from the group quickly. Self-Care would obviously be your most helpful perk, but Bond would also be extremely useful to keep track of who's injured. Urban evasion and Spinechill would be the other big one's, so that one or two people can track the witch during a chase to quickly and safely heal up the injured survivor if they manage to get away. Which, there's a reasonable chance they might if she hasn't stacked up bloodlust tokens and if she has, the ease in which bloodlust is lost.

The worst thing you can do against The Witch? Panic and lose track of your teammates by running everywhere, anywhere, for safety. She'll smack one person and fake the chase while using a camera in hopes of catching a quick glimpse of another darting survivor and turn on a dime to stack up injuries.
