Asking people who maxed their characters with and without fully prestiging.
edit: this guy on reddit did this better than what I would be abe to do here already
feel free to check the discussion, but I think we already have the answer.
from Mclean, on that reddit post
Howdy. I was in the middle of a game and didn't explain myself that well. What I was trying to get at was that the rarity bonuses might be too low to notice, so for most players, the outfit is the point of the prestige. I wouldn't currently recommend grinding the prestige to players only interested in better bloodwebs.
back to the regular post...
Can you help me out real quick?
if anyone has maxed out characters and can share their bloodwebs, I would like that.
I wanna figure out what the actual difference is between the bloodwebs when you prestige and when you don't.
basic bloodweb knowledge
every single bloodweb at level 50 will have exactly 26 nodes
from these nodes. there's browns, yellows, greens, purples and a single red.
My theory is that perks will replace a node at random, without bothering to replace one that costs the same. (which is I'm asking for bloodwebs of maxed out characters that didn't p3, so we get as clear of a picture as possible)
from my maxed out p3 characters, this is how the bloodweb looks(only have 1 character maxed out that I took an extra bloodweb after unlocking the last perk, so in the others the last perk could have replaced anything else [this skews the purple count 1 up])
browns: 7-8
yellows: 4-6
greens: 6-7
purples: 5-6
red: 1. always 1.
my p2, lvl 50, characters (means there's 4 perks in the bloodweb, could affect a lot)
browns: 5-10
yellows: 6-10 (3 yellow perks on the one bloodweb that got 10 yellows)
greens: 5-6
purples: 3-4
red: 1. always 1.
p1, lvl 50 (same as p2)
browns: 8-10
yellows: 6-8
greens: 5-6
purples: 3-5
red: 0-1. (had exactly 1 bloodweb without a red, again a perk probably replaced it)
p0, lvl 50 (same deal)[just 2 characters]
browns: 7-9
yellows: 6-8
greens: 6
purples: 4
red: 1. always 1.
TL:DR;
so, based on just my own bloodwebs, the effect of p3ing your character is...
-maxing out on 8 brown nodes per web.
-reducing the amount of yellows to around 5 or 6.
-increasing the purples to around 5 or 6.
greens and reds are surprisingly consistent at all levels...

from what i know, you see more of the rare addons the more you prestige. i dont even prestige on the pig because her brown addons are the best on her.

Ill go through and post pics if you want to count. Ive got all killers and 2 survivors to p3 50

Ash p3 50, Kate just 50 - both maxed on perks.
Ash - 1 iri, 3 purple, 6 green, 5 yellow, 10 brown, 1 event
Kate - 1 iri, 3 purple, 6 green, 4 yellow, 12 brown
Also, McLean said when you prestige it doesn't really impact the bloodweb.

Body is 1 character too short.

You are either legendary or insane.

I'm no legend

Then we already know the answer.
Just kidding! I am honestly impressed. You did something I could never dream of doing.
That is true dedication.

People say that P3ing doesn't affect the bloodweb, but I definitely notice a difference on Myers. I get Rabbits much less frequently, it seems like, which sucks since those are his best addon, IMO, especially when combined with M&A.
I also seem to almost never get Memorials anymore, to the point where I thought for a while that they had somehow been removed from the game, but that might just be ######### luck.

P0-50s

That can't be the case, since it clearly says it increases the rarity of the things in the bloodweb.
and we can see that when we look at yours.
you get a more browns while p3 gets more purples.
@Mr_K you absolute madman... damn...
That's a lot to look at.
let's go over the basics.
the averages.
Killers
brown - 7.6
yellow - 6.6
green - 6
purple - 4.9
red - 0.96 (probably because perks took the 1 red spot)
p3 survivors
brown - 7.2
yellow - 8.4
green - 6.7
purple - 3
red - 0.73
p0 survivors
brown - 8.5
yellow - 7.4
green - 6.75
purple - 2.75
red - 0.63
but averages can't tell the full story. here's the most repeated number
killer
brown - 8 (11/23)
yellow - 6 (6/23)
green - 6 (19/23)
purple - 6 (10/23)
red - 1 (22/23)
p3 survivors
brown - 6 (4/11)
yellow - 8 (4/11)
green - 7 (6/11)
purple - 2 (5/11)
red - 1 (8/11)
p0 survivors
brown - 9 (4/8)
yellow - 6 and 9 (2/8 each)
green - 7 (4/8)
purple - 2 (5/8)
red - 1 (5/8)
should I put this all in a grid so it's easier to see? probably... but it's 1:00 am and I wanna go to bed.
but, to me it's kinda clear.
prestige will reduce the number of browns and increase purples on average.
maybe the averages between survivor and killer work different. because killers purple averaged quite higher on the purple over the survivors.
the weird thing to me is how consistent green is on all levels... you would think my p2 killers would get more greens, but nope... apparently it's just browns and yellows vs purples...

The purples in mine are the same between p3 50 and just level 50, both have 3. The only rarity increase is 5 yellow on my p3 while my 50 has 4.

Imagine if Prestige reduced the cost of Bloodweb items.
That'd make the game a shedload more tolerable and give incentive to actually Prestige.
I don't think anyone really cares about the Prestige cosmetics.

this is what the data showed here.
and like... at least link the guy. a random image doesn't mean anything without the context.
bloodwebs don't have a fixed amount of node of each rarity
and you literally averaged 11 brown nodes on the bloodwebs you showed
also, literally at the prestige message
- Slightly increases the odds of receiving more Nodes of higher rarities on the Bloodweb .

so it does have an effect, but the effect is very low
