Contaminated Status Effect

What negative effect does being contaminated have on survivors? I haven’t noticed any reason to go for the vaccine.

    So does taking 3 hits to down you not seem like a good enough advantage or..?

    The reason you go for the vaccine is because it forces Nemesis to have to hit you an extra time with his power. Atm, this is strong against Nemesis because getting hit by his power and only get contaminated gives you a speed boost allowing you to significantly extend chase times without extending much effort.

    No I just hadn’t thought about it. Just seems to me like it should give you the broken status effect like plague. Also, can’t he 2 hit down you with basic attack?

    the only downsides to being contaminated is the damage from whip after being contaminated and the time your gonna waste using the vaccine. the speed boost from the initial contaminated hit is trivial to say the least,, but i'm just built different.

    You get a case of the sniffles and might need to lay down for a bit.
