Rancor & Head On

Hello, dbd community! The current shrine has Rancor and Head On available. The other two perks, Blood Pact and I'm All Ears seem pretty useless or of limited use, but I'm curious about the former two. I can't find much on Youtube about Rancor. Is it something to have in the inventory or can it be substituted effectively with similar perks? Is Head On more than a novelty? As much as it makes for fun and entertainment, it doesn't seem like a necessity. Thanks for feedback!

Head On is a decent and REALLY fun perk and takes skill to use, and Rancor allows you to instadown and kill your obsession in the endgame, which is very situational but it's an okay perk. Also, I'm All Ears ain't useless, it's a decent chase perk, and Blood Pact is an okay perk.

I shouldn't have used the word "useless" and stated more clearly that the latter two don't seem like they'd be of great use *with the killers/survivors/perks I have available.* Thanks for the input.

I'm all ears is pretty decent. It's especially good on PH and nurse, but stealth killers can get some use out of it too, pig probably being the best user of it out of those - they vault a window, you instantly crouch out of sight and watch their aura and they'll often panic and move somewhere you can intercept them.

Rancor is okay, but it's just a less precise bitter murmur with the bonus that your obsession will be too scared to do anything useful to help their team in late game. It depends on your playstyle but I'd say IAE is the better perk.

Head on is usually considered the weakest exhaustion perk but it's the only one you can get saves with. Plus it's fun if pretty annoying

    Blood pact is meh
