Wraith Locked for new players
Just got a friend of mine into the game and after installing we were playing a custom match with our other friends, a while into the games we told her the best way to learn survivor is to play killer so she decided to try it out.
Whilst she was picking killer she asked us which one and after all of 5s we said wraith as he is by far the easiest killer of the base 5 to play (trapper, hillbilly, nurse, huntress, wraith).
After looking at her characters for 5 min she said he wasn't there which had us all confused and had to get her to stream it through dissy only to see one of the most braindead things I've ever seen in this game.
Wraith the by far easiest killer to play is locked until you play the tutorial.
I have no words, not nurse who is by far the hardest, not trapper the killer you play in the tutorial, but Wraith.
My only question is why, if you are going to lock a killer to encourage people to play the tutorial lock them all out or better yet don't lock any killer at all.

...yeah thats kinda dumb. Lol. I didn't know they locked characters till tutorial was done. Also id disable billy then or nurse by that logic.

That's idiotic. You don't even learn how to play as Wraith in the tutorial like what??

Its just to encourage new players to play the tutorial. I'm pretty sure David is unlocked for new players once you complete the tutorial as well or maybe it was just a cosmetic. Either way the tutorial doesn't take long to do, helps new players understand the game and give them a space to feel like they arent being pressured by other (perhaps more experienced) players and gives them a healthy boost to their bloodpoints. Not everything is a major issue that everyone makes it out to be... lol.

Him and his school bell, literally the annoying kid that would do anything to get attention.

At least Wraith I get considering he's base game, but David is from a DLC (even if a free one). Locking Jake or something would make more sense

The tutorial takes like 15 minutes....... lol.

Honestly, it is alright. It is a huge incentive to play the Tutorial, like, you get two Characters once doing so. And most people will play the Tutorial at first I guess.
Not really worth any drama IMO.
