Prove Thyself

Anyone else think this perk is way too strong with the current state of the game? Gens already pop like mad, adding a 15% repair bonus to people working on gens together just becomes borderline unfair for most killers.

Perhaps. Trials seem to go by much faster nowadays (which is awful), and this perk can be a little oppressive from time to time.

your gen speed is like 7 seconds faster if 2 people are working on a gen, not really that impactful, they actually had to buff it because the perk used to be super bad and even after the buff is not that good....

I personally think Prove Thyself didn't need the compensation buff it got back when the penalty for repairing together was changed from 10% to 15%.

7 seconds being the difference between using PGTW on a generator and not is massive considering that 7 seconds is 32.2m of distance on a 115% killer.

No, it's a perk to faster finish singular gen which is overall less meta strategy then doing 2 gens seperately.

It's a perk that directly buffs gen speed but all useful perks in some way grant gen progression. If you use Dead hard, you're prolonging the chase basically buying your team more gen progress indirectly. Just because PT does it directly doesn't mean it's too strong.

Main problem with gen speeds are the dumb random survivor spawns that can instaly put 4 survivors at 4 different gens, making it extremely easy for them to push first 2-3 gens. That paired with map balance obviously.

Two Survivors on one Gen with Prove Thyself is still better than those two Survivors on two separate Gens.

The Perk is only used for the BP-Bonus, if you would remove that, nobody would run this Perk because on its own, there are better Perks to use.

i prefer 2-3 survivors on 1 gen than 2-3 survivors on 2-3 gens, so the perks is fine as it is
