Stuck inside basement stairs on Lerys

Playing as Jill in public match, a Meg was slugged near the top of basement stairs and I ran to pick her up. When clicking the heal prompt I was pulled inside the staircase and couldn't move out. The killer didn't seem to be aware that I was stuck in there and didn't try to attack me the entire game. I could see and hear crows but another survivor friend said he couldn't. Had to wait for EGC to die.
