Why does nemesis power give survivors a speed boost

I think this is the first ability in the game that does no harm on the first hit and gives huge between the survivor and killer which is absurd. I think the speedboost should be removed and the contaminated status effect needs a buff considering how useless a 0.25 second slow is...

Also zombies feel way more docile and useless on live compared to ptb or mabye its just me.

The first infection hit is supposed to apply the Hindered status onto survivors, but its currently set at a baffling duration of 0.25 seconds.

Its got to be some kind of mistake, but as far as I'm aware, nobody aknowledged the issue on the dev side. same for Clown's tonic being completly broken.

M1 first unless they are on a pallet or low wall and then infect unless you can get them infected by a zombie m1 just recovers a tad faster than tent strike or at least it appears to since its a shorter animation

Yes. By 0.15 seconds. If its not a mistake its a joke.

The speed boost a survivor get when taking a hit is 150% speed for 2 seconds. The Hindered effect is only -20% speed, for a grand total of 0.40s with licker tongue. Less than half a second. Come on now.

By an additional .15 seconds, making it in total .4 seconds.

Hopefully they fix this in the next bug patch, but that's probably wishful thinking.

I've seen so many matches where Nemesis' is unable to get his first down until 3 gens later. And by that point, they just resort to camping because of how time-consuming his power can be.

It should give a speed boost if it doesn't damage you, I agree. since it does on the second hit though that's where the issue comes in.

This is pretty much it. Even if I hit the whip on the first go it's still about 80sec to first down unless survivor screws up. Just need to W to extend the chase for your two sprint bursts.
