PC - Deathslinger recovery

It only happened once, it was on midwich. As the deathslinger, I shot felix when he threw a pallet down. because i couldn't hit him I had to let the chain break with a wall, so i walked behind a wall to make it faster, but for some reason when the chain broke, i didn't get stunned. Felix was still injured and got the speed boost but I was walking as if nothing happened (still had to reload). I was not using any recovery add-ons.
