Supply crates are haunted

Obviously I'm joking, but they do behave ghostly.
When I play Nemesis, I notice that used supply crates appear closed at a distance, then magically open themselves when I approach, unfortunately with the sound effects. In cases of me not having line of sight to the supply crate, this has fooled me a bunch of times into thinking a survivor was around, when there wasn't.

• Steps to reproduce (if possible): play Nemesis, I'm not sure if that's how they behave from survivor pov as well or not
• How often does this occur: every time I play Nemesis
