part 15: How would you feel about the headless horsemen in dbd?
Welcome to the 15th poll regarding licensed characters. As I promised @Mr_Madness I am now doing a poll for the headless horsemen in dbd. Plus this is public domain so BHVR wouldn't even have to do anything to get it. Also everyone who was there when I announced my schedule for this I'm going to go back to the schedule of 1 every 4 days. If you want me to change it let me know.

Yes because its a classic horror icon from most read classic novels like The Strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde which inspired them to make the Blight.
Could be quite unique killer.
Could have a ranged power and an alt power like throwing a fireball to cause injure status with status effect but never downed and over time build up power to activate Daredevil aka his horse to speed across the map but has short m1 range.
Also large range of cosmetics from the Revolutionary war to the medieval era.

Could be great, would be greater if it was an anime woman who rides a motorcycle, but even if they weren't that a Headless Horseman in DBD would be a great addition to the killer roster.

Conceptually I have no strong opinion on a Headless Horseman being added to DBD.
Mechanically, I cant even begin to imagine how the hell they would implement it without being incredibly contrived and lame.

I'd want it ONLY if we're talking about the 2013 Sleepy Hollow Series or an original creation from BHVR out of the legend of the Headless Horseman.
The 2013 show is underrated in my opinion, boasted a spectacular cast and a Gothic story of the Occult in the modern day (which is almost 10 years ago now) and covered all kinds of folklore like the Sandman, the Witches of Salem, The Lost Colony of Roanoke and much more. Also, the Headless Horseman within the show is just straight up badass
This particular version of the headless horseman would also fulfill my want for an original chapter featuring an old vintage soldier as a killer, whether that's the Revolutionary War, Mexican-American War, Civil War, all the way up to WWI (I would say is the threshold before you head into more modern conflicts) doesn't matter.
Sleepy Hollow also had an INCREDIBLE theme which sounds incredibly haunting and reminds me a little bit of the Blight events from DBD:
The theme was composed and produced by Brian Tyler (who created the scores for a bunch of marvel movies including Iron Man 3 + Avengers Age of Ultron, Crazy Rich Asians, Now You See Me, and seven of the fast and furious movies, and music for many other movies, tv, and video games [he created the music for AC IV Black flag!?])
Much as I know people love Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow film from 1999, I just can't get beyond the fact that the headless horseman is Christopher Walken. Also the all black attire seems really dull and cliche to me and not at all as visually interesting as the tattered Redcoat uniform of the Headless Horseman in the show. If that was the headless horseman we got, you'd have to bump my vote all the way down to "I don't like it but it's whatever").
Although again, I'm entirely open to seeing the legend of the Headless Horseman as adapted by the devs themselves, I'm sure they could create their own more mature and compelling version of the character out of the iconic story for Dead by Daylight. In that case my vote would be "Sure I'd like it".

Would be totally down for the Sleepy Hollow TV show Headless Horseman.
Loved that show and love the fact he is literally Death one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.
If it had to be licensed I would only like that version of him even though Johnny Depp version was good but TV show expanded more on the horseman then the movie did.
Heck just have a Sleepy Hollow TV show chapter and have skins for existing survivors and killers because that would be an awesome chapter for fall.
Kinda surprised not lot of people would like to have that version of the Headless Horseman since would fit in DBD a lot and would make sense lore wise.
[Edit] Kinda wonder if its possible to have Devs consider that chapter idea since would bring in lot of money if they also do legendary skins for original characters.
