How to get a better ping when playing with friends from a different region?

Question is in the title. Im from europe and I play with friends from brazil. When I invite them i have a normal good ping and they have a like 200-300ms ping. When i join them its the other way around.

Its very frustrating for us and I would like to know if there is a way to fix it or make it better. Could a VPN be helpful?

    I tried Exitlag, but it didn't help a bit. My ping stay same or even slightly worse. Every match I had a bad connection sign in a corner.

    You can try a free trial, maybe it will help you.

    There also services like VPNGame and WTFast, but I didn't tried.
