Just why
I have recently started playing killer and am a level 19. I keep getting put with red ranks. Not only do I get gen rushed but they flashbang and flashlight when not needed. For example, was in a match today where all the gens got done extremely quick and instead of leaving they decided to flashbang and flashlight constantly when I wasn't hitting them then when I tried they 360 me. If that wasn't enough they then go to the exits and start tbagging. You already won so why keep being (bad word). I know I need to get better but damn. I used to feel really bad for survivors when killers would tunnel or camp them but seeing what survivors do I can't blame killers any longer. Bullying a baby killer just cause your in red ranks🤦

this game is just one MASSIVE cause and effect board

Just quit and refund while you're ahead.

You actually can blame people who act toxic towards one side because the other side was toxic to them if they generalise and lump everyone together.
Not every survivor or killer is the same. But yeah a lot of people are toxic. We shouldn't be toxic to non toxic people tho it makes us the same as them.
That aside I am sorry for your experience. Those people lack any empathy when they bm if you didn't bm yourself and you were just trying to play the game.

You've found the root cause of killer players that earnestly despise survivors, and the flip side to survivor players that think killers are the scum of the earth (because much like this, they keep running into hard tunnelers and campers.) Nothing spreads resentment in this game faster than players that go out of their way to be cocky asshats and who have fun trying to make the other team miserable, and the kinds of people that recognize their opponent is a baby/are babies and goes "haha, this is the perfect opportunity to bully" are really just pathetic.
Sometimes I wish there was a thumbs down option for players that didn't break rules but behaved like shitheels. But there isn't, so the best you can do is try not to let it get to you, move on to the next match, and don't take out your frustrations on the next batch preemptively - otherwise you risk becoming a part of the problem. And if you had a team that was bullying you all game (not just outplaying you, but being really obnoxious about it), and they make it out, never go to the exit gates; just roam around breaking pallets, or alt-tab and watch cat videos or something. It's a bit of petty revenge you can exact on them, because you know they will waste two minutes in the desperate hopes that they can show you their clicky clicky butt dance.

Not going to quit because of it.

There's no good reason for it they're just power tripping the why of it isn't really worth speculating on. We've all been there though you just have to hold those Ls while you're learning and it sucks but if you stick with it they'll not be in a situation to do that once you get to a certain point (mostly sometimes games just go bad even if you know what you're doing).
Can I ask if there's a killer you gravitate towards atm?

At the moment plague and doctor I can't decide which. I like both. I tried demogorgon for a while but not a fan of playing him.

Ah yes, the beauty of our community. Missing no chance in giving new players a pleasant welcome.
Until the new mmr releases, there isn't much you can do about, I'm afraid.
Many new players have been scared away by this behavior and many more will follow, until this gets solved.

Plague is rough at first for sure but really underrated IMO. Best tips I can give without seeing any gameplay is don't try to fully infect people at the start unless they're deadzoned just get a drop of vomit on them at the start and move on to the next person so you can get people cleansing as fast as possible and actually get to your real power also once people do cleanse be liberal with your power usage rather than trying to save up a bunch of pools.
Depending how deep you wanna dig into plague and getting good with them I'd recommend looking up pixel bush entertainment's plague guide on youtube, it's quite long (45 minutes) but there's good stuff there and more detailed than anything I could explain on here.

To put it bluntly, they realize you aren't good and take advantage of it.
But they also don't know your rank prior to the end-game lobby. They may have had an idea you were low rank, but they had no way to confirm till AFTER the game concludes. A lot of times, they regret their actions at that point. Some also just don't care what rank you are, they just like being frustrating for the killer.

I feel you. I'm a survivor main. I'm in no way new, but I get matched with red ranks all the time that try to end the match as quickly as possible regardless of how I play. Add angry people on my team that DC or suicide on the hook to the mix and it gets really old really fast. I wish I could just opt out of playing with people that do that, but I doubt that'll ever be a thing.
I hope you have a better time in the game, but unfortunately it's full of bitter people that don't really wanna have fun.

Thanks will look it up.

I have only been playing for 2 days and I already faced my first red rank with TTV in their name. That was fast...
Luckily his teammates were only like around 8-10. So I pulled off the 4k.

Yeah like I'm gonna pallet stun or blind a killer if they keep allowing it to happen, but I'm not gonna tbag or flashlight click or anything because I can literally tell they have a lot to learn.

This is why we need an MMR system, so that people can't just de-rank and bully new killers.

Oh, no. Not because of this. Just in general.

I don't care what in general you are saying. I refuse to quit. 😜

That's because survivors think killers are toxic and vice versa. As a killer main on console it has been extremely unbearable to play lately because of multiple reason... the main reason being awful lag. This game caters to alum players and TTV players. Everyone else is trash.
