Playing tutorial still takes away perks/customizations

On Xbox, after playing a survivor tutorial match (because playing against bot trapper is a lot of fun), I went back to the survivor screen and see that the bug that takes away your perks/character customization is still there when patch 5.0.2 specially says it fixed it.
Steps to reproduce: play tutorial as survivor (maybe killer), and load back into survivor/killer menu. Perks will be gone.
Consistently keeps happening. I’m on Series X as well.
