To be fair, survivors only say ggs when they are trying to tell the killer #########, it is most of the time that way.
Killers can be extremely wholesome and still get ######### talked after a ggs.
You maybe telling the killer in a good way but people like us that play mostly killer get the same experience as I do.

Don't assume that because a survivor says gg, it's meant to be a taunting action. Many of us just type gg regardless and move on, since it's just good sportsmanship.

Some do, most just do it to taunt, which happens extremely often, I haven't received a ggs in like 3 months the only time I get a ggs is when I get told to kms and stuff like that.
You and some people do it out of good sportmanship but not all do.

I tell killers "gg wp <3" all the time. I def don't mean it in a cruel manner :/ It sucks that they take it that way.

You were telling the dude to stop "crying a river" when he is seemingly suicidal. You are not a good sportsman in the slightest.
I agree he was being over dramatic, and this is just a game. But a reasonable person would have taken their own advice and just left. No need to fan the flames of whatever problem he has, in my opinion.
I mean, you do you, but there is a VERY obvious reason he thought your gg was sarcastic and with context, I am not sure why you even bothered either.

It was not sarcastic. I type gg, wait a bit to see if anyone else says gg, and then move on.
People want to be salty in end game chat, I'll call them out on it. There's very little reason to throw a fit in end game chat. No one else is going to care.
Also he's complaining that because we typed gg, we were thinking he should go kill himself which is far from the truth.

I rarely see survivors type GG after they get 4k'd. And I mean....I kind of expect that. People that lose games don't say GG, if anything they go completely mute.

Schrodinger's gg. It simultaneously means 'good game' and 'git gud' and it's simultaneously both until you interpret it the way you do.
I've never seen someone get so mad at a Meg though. In that situation I'd just start typing Meg over and over like she's some sort of Pokemon.

I always send gg, no matter what side im on. Im never being sarcastic. Especially to the killer

But i do. If i die its ggwp and if i escape its gg. I never mean anything cross by it.
Unless the survivor says otherwise i take it as good game 🤷♂️

It’s unfortunate that “GG” has been turned into something negative by some. Personally i think it’s best not to say GG to the opposition if it was blatantly obvious they got stomped or performed poorly. For this game I wouldn’t tell a Killer “GG” after only getting one hook and everyone survived. It’s obvious that wasn’t a good game for him. To me that’s not sincere. Some feel obligated to say it regardless of how the game was played, win or lose- for sportsmanship. I definitely get it & respect it.

He got multiple hooks tho. In fact I thought the game was going to be over with a person out at the start of the game.

Oh no, sorry I was just talking in general. I’m actually confused to what was going on in those pics lol. I knew it stemmed from “GG,” and I’m guessing because it was misinterpreted as a taunt? So my thing is, a select few had to go and ruin something that had positivity to it. Now it’s like, “how do I take that?” Did he mean it, or was he being flippant?

Except that this is a game where you can very easily have 10 "bad games" in a row that's overflowing with performance issues and taking a break won't really solve that. Plus killers have been stretched to breaking point so I'd rather some salty than literally having less killers.

I understand that there are players who just like you and many more do say GG and mean it in a good way, sadly this community usually doesn't mean it in a good way for some reason.
Same here, doesn't matter the side I play I just say ggs and move on unless they want to ask me something, if they do ask me I usually respond normally and for some reason they ask for tips on certain killers I just tell them what they can do that might work.
