Need help with choice
Alright so been playing around with all the killers and I can't decide which I like better. Spirit or Doctor. Doctor because of the constant shock therapy and spirit because of phase walking. I can't decide which to make my main. Can anyone give me some pros and cons to each one.

If you want to win constantly play Spirit. If you care more about having the game be fun and balanced for both sides play Doctor. Doctor is not bad in his own right though and some people think he's really good. Take from that what you will.

Keep on playing both!
If you enjoy both, you don't necessarily have to "main" one of them.

I personally find Doctor a lot more fun (and good for Deviousness points), although Spirit is definitely stronger.

Survivor don't like either. Spirit offers them not enough tells about what she is doing and when. Docs static blast and the madness screen effects with everything going on there is also hated.
So if you main one of those two don't expect s very warm welcome from the other side.
Edit: I am personally going to focus on Oni (curious how long I will last, can't stick to one thing for very long, neither character nor game). Some people on this forum mentioned that he is not played much and he is also one of the killer without too much outside dependence. Standard 115 m1 killer without power but becomes a better maneuverable billy (except his smash) with it.

Doctor - Has very good tracking. He's good at shutting down loops quick. However he lacks pressure. None of his power does damage, therefore he is a basic attack killer, which means you need perks or good pressure methods like slugging to keep him going. He's takes abit of practise landing shock therapy at the right time but it'll be fine :)
I love Doctors I think they're kind of easy to outplay, survivors will most likely drop pallets early to avoid being shocked and his detonation delay will have them getting to windows and pallets anyway. Which is another reason why learning his shock therapy is difficult.
Spirit - Has very good chase ability. End chases easy and fast. However she lacks tracking. Her phase disables you to see others so running perks like discordance, tremors, Bbq... Will really help you out.
I personally dislike spirit. Her 'whoosh' sound dosnt give you enough info to know if she's 15m behind you or in front of your face lol. Many people will have no respect for you playing her and if you lose, expect teabags and no sympathy.
In my opinion, just main both!
I main huntress, clown, pyramid head, so just play who you love.

Why pick one, just play both, it is more fun

Give yourself a bit of diversity and make both joint mains. I have four joint mains I like to jump to and from with, doctor, wraith, freddy and nemesis.
My secondaries, just for fun, are clown, myers, trapper and ghostface.
All the rest I may play if I feel like a change, except nurse. I suck at nurse but may try to learn her when sbmm is permanently turned on.
