What is the point of those "Farming offering", if you are getting matched vs tryhard killers ...
literally every single time.
And there is nothing you can do? Those 2 disconnected players were cause they were tunnelled by this killer who then was harassing us in a post match chat about how idiotic we are and how funny it was to troll it for us not getting points.
Like I don't really get it why you have to suffer from this.

Doesn’t matter what offering you put up
killers who camp and tunnel only know how to play one way.
same as gen rushing urban evadedets only know how to play one way.
you can’t polish a turd by using a bonus offering, it doesn’t work.
21 -
The same thing is happening to me, but the opposite. They rush gens and leave, so all the cake offerings are vaguely wasted. Idk, I had a weird game with 3 disconnects before the match started and the last survivor let me chase them for like a minute and I still got 25k at the end. This event is just raining blood... points. So I don't mind too much really, just participating is giving me so many levels.
9 -
If it makes you feel any better...
Survivors behave exactly the same by gen rushing out, instead of getting as much points as possible.
21 -
So a tryhard killer is classified as using 4 mediocre perks and 2 ultra rare addons that arent good? My bad.
15 -
I spent most my day playing killer. I'm rank 11. Survivors made no attempt to farm, and every game has been genrush city. 2 Anniversary toolboxes + BNP and Prove Thyself, and 2 Anniversary Flashlights.
3 -
Like others have said before me, it goes both ways.
I wish people could learn to enjoy the journey and not just the destination.
It is all about escapes and 4ks anymore. Noone cares how they get there, their only enjoyment is how they view the results.
9 -
This is my experience as well, I'm trying so hard to make the best of it so we all get rich without outright farming and without applying a sweat load of pressure they do all gens asap and leave, I really don't understand.
Oh well

Survivors have more to lose by extending a match. 5,000 points for escaping + cakes is a lot to consider.
0 -
So escaping with 11k basepoints is great?
2 -
You still get more points whether it is against Santa Killers or those going 110%. Why are you complaining about the Killer when the picture you show us has TWO DCs? Those are the people you should be posting about, the ones who left you in a lurch and made it impossible to win.

I did a little math. One of the Survivors who didn't quit earned 67K instead of the 15K that would have been earned without this event. The other one earned 40K instead of the meager 9K that would have been earned. Now think of all the additional points that could have been earned if the pathetic losers hadn't disconnected. I swear you people are the most ungrateful, entitled Trolls I've ever seen.

How are survivors supposed to try to farm? It's entirely a killer's decision to do so or not. Literally every single game I have had, the killer camps and tunnels. Every single one. Why should we slow down the game to help the killers when they choose to do that almost constantly?
1 -
Play the killer side and you will realise that survivors are going just as tryhard.
4 -
There's no such thing as a "farming offerring".
And this is absolutely true. As usual, no side is innocent and there's toxicity everywhere, which is why I've been streaming shows and playing with Spine Chill, because it's way easier to not take the game seriously when you're not paying attention.
1 -
Why do act like it’s your duty to protect all killers. Are you their lawyer? There are killers that tunnel deliberately during the event so the survivor only gets 5k base points. They only care about the bloodpoints they get.
1 -
I played killer during the 4th anniversary, and survivors would generally seek the killer out to see if they wanted to farm and go from there.
Usually if all five offered cake, it was a safe assumption that everyone wants to farm. But now, survivors only seem interested in getting out as fast as possible.
3 -
HA! Don't tell me that. I got hooked twice while I was afk just yesterday, to a match that shouldn't even have been a thing as I had hit UNREADY before moving to another room. Got back and I was on second hook, to a guy who then proceeded to tunnel me again. The average dips**ts of this game's community, what can you do about them?
2 -
Correct.
5 -
Well many survivors just go in and hammer out the gens and leave, where is the fun in that, you might as well bring Keys also
6 -
I'm an equal opportunity protector. When I say someone say something idiotic about Survivors (from a Killer role perspective) I go after that too. For example, I always weigh in when I see people whining about Dead Hard. That aside, in my experience, playing BOTH roles, I find that most Players do not correctly identify Tunneling or Camping. They just claim it constantly as a scapegoat rather than admit their own failures. The Event gives you the chance to earn MORE points. It does not obligate either role to farm. If that is your expectation, you are being rude an unrealistic.

BP offerings are not 'Farming Invitations', they're simply BP bonuses.
If everyone plays well, then you'll get more BP, for the bonus to multiply.
If those two survivors didn't DC, they likely would have got a not-insignificant amount of BP. Even if they only scored a minimum of 5k, those four offerings would have turned that into 26,250 BP.
Can't speak for the killer who was a dick anyway, but I wouldn't be surprised if part of his behaviour was specifically because of those DCs.
7 -
They dcd during a 400% game. Yeah thats pretty dumb
4 -
Ah yes, because Killers not reading Survivor's minds & trying to play the game normally are now 'tryhard'.
Because all that matters is what Survivors want, and Killers are expected to know exactly what that is, across the entire Survivor main playerbase, 4 times a match.
It's like Survivor mains really think Killer players are paid actors meant to enhance their own fun no matter what.
6 -
Or the devs didn't make the challenge equal and it is unfairly difficult on survivor.
1 -
The OP said nothing about the challenge?
Don't get me wrong; the event is badly lopsided, and that Killer WAS toxic in chat (supposedly).
But claiming the Killer is 'tryhard' because they played a specific offering & expected him to farm is basically saying they expected him to read their mind and do what they want. They're saying their want to farm makes the Killer the villain for not doing so.
IE: To them, he was 'tryhard' for not reading their minds, and not suspending the actual goal of the game to cater to their want to farm. Which is just more Survivor main 'Do what we say, peasant' attitude.
2 -
They've disconnected because he found a person, hooked him, we unhooked the dude, he downed him again and went for another person with his power. He was almost camping with his power because those 2 survivors were on hooks that got spawned pretty nearby, so we tried to unhook them again but failed. So basically those 2 disconnects were from guys who were tunnelled and heavily slugged while we tried to do things. Doesn't matter if they stayed or not.
1 -
Those are really bad perks.. I would assume this killer still hasn’t reached Lv 50 yet lol.
And if this is consider tryhard, maybe only an add-onless trapper with no perks can be considered as chill
3 -
In other words, they weren't winning so they ragequit. If they didn't DC they would have at least taken some of the killer's time. The killer was trying to play the game and you're teammates just weren't interested in that.
2 -
I've yet to see a survivor escaping with only 11k.
2 -
Nobody in the match is under any obligation to farm when offerings are in play.
Deal with it.
2 -
Here you go
1 -
You're owed nothing, you can't expect the killers to be chill when survivors aren't and the same the other way around just play then game
0 -
And yet I'm having the opposite happen to me. Trying to farm as a killer. I find a survivor and spin in circles, hit random stuff, head nod, puke in spirals in the air. Survivors will tbag, do all the gens. then leave without letting me do a thing. Had many in chat cuss me out and praise themselves. So I'm not farming anymore. I tried to have fun but no thanks. Just going to play the game normally.
1 -
You know you can be tryhard without meta perks right? There are vanilla mechanics that can be used to tryhard. Like, tunneling and camping when there are mainly solo survivors(just genrush 4head doesnt really work, as you dont know if the killer tunnels or camps unless you yourself actually get there, which is why people want Kindred to be basekit). Or mass slugging when you dont even need to, especially when there is an event going on that finally gives survivors a decent amount of BP.
Actions make you tryhard, not slots.

Well, he probably depiped
But hey, it's only one bps afterall
0 -
The dc probably screwed you more than anything. But I can still agree. They should never turn dc penalties off honestly.
1 -
Amen! Just look at these forums; people will use ANY excuse to DC, because they don't care about anyone but themselves.
But then those same people will claim it's Killer's fault for not caring about their fun, if the Killer tries too hard to win. 😂
1 -
I run Prove Thy Self, but I do it for the points since completing a gen gives you ######### for points.
0 -
Yeah its nobody's fault other than yours that you dc'd. The ONLY time I say doing it is okay is in a situation like before with getting stuck on the hill bug. or the infinite falling one if you got hooked in basement. Other than that you're only hurting yourself and giving someone something to laugh at you for.
2 -
whats the point of not realizing you had basically no issues finishing the gens then opening the gate and getting less points. :/
0 -
I greet the killers in my games. If they don't do anything to greet me back then I just leave. I'm not here for all those killers out there who delight in being shitheels during an event.
0 -
That's a dumb reason to leave a match.
0 -
Killer ≠ Babysitter
0 -
The offerings gives bonus bloodpoints. They do not force either side to have to farm.
People need to stop acting like that using these cake offerings means the killer must farm with you.
1 -
So, let me get this straight; You 'greet' the Killer, and if they don't show their willingness to 'greet back', then you DC and claim they are being jerks?
More proof that Survivors will literally blame Killers for anything they do. You're in the wrong for DCing, and literally for no reason other than 'Boo hoo, the Killer is not being chill like I'm demanding!', and you think that makes it okay for you to screw over the entire game?
4 -
Okay, let's ignore the farming bloodpoints part. Why is there an ingame objective that is exclusive to 5th anniversary, that Survivors can obtain if they find and ESCAPE so that means if you die, you have to try it more and more times, while killers simply have to only play the game. Basically you can find it and then stay afk. It's completely not logical and unfair this way.
1 -
that is 100% true. I play survivor side. the killers just go hard and want the game over as quick as possible.
I play killer side, the survivors just gen rush and want he game over as fast as possible.
you can't win.
1 -
Killers and survivors have a right to not farm.
2 -
It's because during the 2018 Hallowed Blight some survivors would suicide immediately after collecting the serum, and their selfishness has screwed the rest of us over ever since. All of the events since then have required survivors to escape if they want to keep the event item they found in the match. It sucks.

This is true. I was making a joke to one of my friends when we saw a camping doctor and there were 4 cakes. I was like, "Bruh, it's the event. Why you gonna play like this?"
In end-game, I saw their name was, "ICampTooMuch," and was like, "at least they stay true to their name, even with all these blood points on the line." Lol I found it funny and wasn't salty about it. You bought the game. You're entitled to play it how YOU want to play it, but I'll still make some jokes here and there. 😉
