Admit it - Are you that killer...
![domriver](https://forums.bhvr.com/applications/dashboard/design/images/defaulticon.png)
When you see a survivor and he/she is sparkling/glittering you know they have found the crown. You purposely go after them to kill them and deny them the crown?
ill admit it . i did it. ša few times...... š¤

I try to win my matches, period. The sparkling-denying thing doesnāt really play a part in my logic.
9 -
I dont want to reveal this but...Spirit in phasing can see the spark.
Technically sparking survivors are completely visible to Spirit.
23 -
No. Its an event.
1 -
Thank you.
3 -
Depends on if they become or have been toxic.
1 -
I hate this knowledge so much
12 -
No, I don't really find pleasure in purposefully making things more difficult for people.
14 -
The crown itself is of no concern but seeing the sparkles does attract a leather face.
Also, the bear trap does not discriminate.
2 -
I do, i like the salt at the end. I find that funny that survivor think they should have a free escape because of the event

LOL - im a console player so I don't see the chat but i can live with knowing they were denied the crown at least this match. LOL
0 -
I won't play any differently from how I normally do. I won't actively try to deny you the crown, but I won't intentionally not go for a 4k either.
2 -
I admit it. I dont care about survivors having crowns. But every once in a while I play Mr Bing Bong and let them take the crowns and leave.
0 -
Yeah. Really sad seeing people brag about it. Not surprising though.
7 -
I'm not the kind of person who sees a random person who has done nothing to deserve my ire and goes "I'm gonna ruin their day", no.
9 -
I usually just 2 hook survivors and let them escape if they aren't licensed and they don't have the crown. I've been dealing with people being god awful to one another during the event that ill play nice
3 -
Nope. The opposite, in fact, because I've been on that side before (and will be again soon and until I get crowns for all the survivors) and know what that's like.
3 -
Why would anyone do that? I want to have fun just as much as anyone else and Iām going to make sure that the people Iām playing with/against also have fun. No need to be selfish people.
8 -
Here i am, thinking the spirit in one if my recent matches was hacking..
1 -
Not to mention the fact that if a large enough number of players get crowns, we all get some new skins or something to that effect.
6 -
I play the same way I always do. but I am slightly more inclined to let people leave by the end
0 -
I admit it, I've ended up farming nearly every game I've played today, while making sure people find the crowns when they spawn. You got me, Chief.
0 -
Nope. Just keep farming just keep farming
1 -
Not really. My general consesus is "Let me get the 4 stacks of BBQ and you are free to farm" -- except for that Leon that clearly saw I was going for a crown in Coldwind Farm and decided to blind me with the Flashbang and took it for himself.
One of the two times I've deliberately decided to tunnel someone in a match and I'm not sorry about it.

The only sparkling one iĀ“m hunting down is this one.
1 -
I couldn't care less about crowns. I never wore them last year and won't this year. I certainly don't go out of my way to be an ass and deny other people though.
2 -
Nah, I play normally. I will go after people with the crown if I have to go after people with the crown.
2 -
No I don't like making other people miserable.
4 -
No. Just because they are sparkling don't mean your preventing them from getting the crown. They could already have got it (previous match) and just wanted the 250 BP from it.........
0 -
Why do people find this amusing or entertaining...?
I will never understand.
3 -
Im playing normally except instead of giving last person hatch im letting the last 2 go
0 -
It's because of people like you that I try to make sure the sparkling survivor survives in my Killer matches.
Unless they're licensed characters. You're not getting the crown anyways, you're wasting it for someone else who could've gotten it. You're dead.
3 -
Why? I mean the whole role of killer is to ruin the fun for 4 other players. So Iām not shocked.
0 -
Really? Didn't noticed that because no one picks up the crown for some reason.
Edit: Actually, i just played another match, didn't notice the slightest, and i'm sure they have the crown
0 -
Unless the person is trying to taunt me, a survivor attempting a crown is no different than one who isn't.
1 -
No, and I honestly can't even wrap my mind around the mindset that makes it an appealing thing to do even as a theoretical exercise. Just as weird as people that basically threw the match just to keep event hooks sabo'd all game back when that was possible.
3 -
no since the crowns came I try to get my crown station and then just sorta play seriously to try and prolong the match for as much points as possible

Loving the variety of people in here. Different perspectives etc. :)
0 -
So many miserable people in here.

Who said anything about a free escape? Making if your mission to kill someone just because they have a crown is just BM. Play as normal. If they get sacrificed because you were better, so be it. If they escape because they played better, so be it. Them having a crown is none of your business.
0 -
Disagree. That's not the "role." The killer is simply supposed to outplay you. I've had lots of fun going against great killers--even when they sacrifice me. A really skilled killer who isn't a sore loser--or winner--always has my respect. It's fun even when you lose. They make the game worth playing.

I'm personally the opposite on both killer and survivor (I'll explain the survivor part). As killer, if I see them glowing, I'll let them go, but I'll still hook them during the game.
As survivor, if I find the crown pedestal, I'll constantly fast vault and make noises, so the killer comes to me. If they do come, I point at the pedestal for them to get the crown.
I'm too wholesome for DbD. ššš
0 -
Nope, not that killer. If you glow, you escape. Licensed characters might be the exception since they can't get crowns, but it depends on the match and how annoying they've been.
1 -
Disagree. Though on the other hand, if you genuinely think survivors care about the killer having fun.... I've got some magic beans you might be interested in.
