Can not play w/ friends after 5.0.0 update

can not join with friends: error messages, failure to join, party does not exist, sometimes we all get in but can’t see each other, or can’t all ready up.

it happens when we have 2-4players
We only managed to get about 3 games in one day with 4 survivors. The past few days it’s been doing this for hours (right now I’m at 2 hours of this) and getting tired.
it occurs all the time, morning noon and night. Checked to see if maybe servers were less busy at 2am,4am, 8am, noon, ext... nothing helps
we even reinstalled the game (that time it worked for the above mentioned games) but never again... don’t want to have to redownload the game every time we want to play together...
