Losing the creepy subtlety
The new loading menu with the "dead by daylight" voice is a bit much.
Its cheesy, unecessary and really just kinda irksome.
Its by no means game ruining and its a minor quibble at most but I cringe everytime I hear it. Its like being smacked over the head with the obvious.
Please devs next time you think about beating the audience with an obviousness bat stop as ask "why was Jaws such a great film?"
Because the mechanical shark kept breaking down, meaning for 80% of the picture its was personified by first person camera shots and ominous music, leaving to audience to create the terror of the unknown in their heads right up until near the end. It was unintentional brilliance.
Here's another example, the original is kinda dated and gritty but also kinda ominous and unclear, the special edition might as well have tatooed BAD GUY on his forehead. We know the emperor is evil we don't need to be slapped in the face with it.
Its such a small thing but it speaks volumes about not understanding what gives the game its atmosphere. its how we end up with jarring oddities like the trickster. Sometimes less is more.
Just something I wanted to note.

It's a homage to the Resident Evil games that say "Resident Evil" when you boot them up.
It'll be gone next chapter, don't worry.

I kinda like it.
Then again I liked the Resident Evil title screen.
I wish we can get to choose and customize our lobbies.

I get that but it wasn't really necessary in the RE games either.

Hey each to their own.
I agree with you about being able to choose a dlc that you like as an option though.

It's even a entire Capcom thing. The Devil May Cry franchise does the same. Devs do what they want to do ...
