PC - Audio reversed?

I'm having an issue where the game audio is reversed, i.e: a gen being repaired on my right is heard on my left; a survivor running to my left is heard on my right. I thought maybe it would just be this one game, so I played another, still the problem persisted. I restarted the game, which still did not fix the problem. As crucial as sound is for killer to track survivors, this is a practically game breaking bug, I don't want to have to wear my headphones backwards while playing.

this happens to me sometimes, too, i'm glad it isn't just me. every other game works fine so im not sure whats going on
