(New) No way out + Noed might become a problem
Is anyone else really concerned about this?
I usually am more of the side of not nerfing killer related things. Noed always has been one of the things i think should be reworked. I disagree with the "just do bones" argument as it simply consumes too much time on higher level play. It might be a different story with counterforce in the game, we will see. I still am really worried about this though. It seems really really powerful.

Probably be just as annoying as it is now

You'll have time to find the lit NOED totem before you can open the exit gate.

Get ready for NOED + No Way Out + Blood Warden + Remember Me, yikes.
I'm all for No Way Out being buffed but I think buffing the timer so you can have a gate blocked for a minute max AND making it so it doesn't activate till someone touches a door is a little extreme.

If you think thats bad wait till they actually have freddys black box working 😂
And yes, just do bones. At high level in particular a secondary objective is needed. If you refuse to do bones, not much room to complain about noed

It still takes about 2 minutes with Counterforce and you absolutely cannot communicate with teammates so they waste even more time looking for bones you've cleansed.

I am planning to use this build actually: Noed + Remember Me + No Way Out + Blood Warden
This build will be so fun with No Way Out buffs.

So, what you're saying is, we might have a viable build for killers that focuses on the endgame instead of stacking 3 gen defense perks?
I think it's a step in the right direction. And i plan on trying out
NWO + NOED + RM + BBQ (for bloodpoints lel)

Why can't survivors just do bones? Killers have to assume survivors have DS and not tunnel them, or assume they have BT and not hit them off the hook. Why can't survivors assume totems and do them? The game is balanced around survivors not slamming the gens as hard as they do.

Counterforce + Small Game has been doing well for me thus far.

Endgame builds are garbage. All it takes is one key and all 4 of your perks are nullified.

*laughs In small game*

No Way Out is being buffed to make it do what it was always supposed to do. Currently, it's only value comes from denying the insta-gate opening as soon as the last gen pops.
Most of the time, the perk just wasted itself and nobody knew you ran it.
1 -
Except, look at your build there. Every single one of the perks does nothing until the last generator is completed. That means for the entire rest of the game, you are playing with 0 perks. That sounds pretty fair to me. If the killer is running this build and not a bunch of gen defense, you should have plenty of time to "just do bones" as it were.

'I disagree with the "just do bones" argument as it simply consumes too much time on higher level play.'
Umm...That's on you and the Killer.
Either the Killer fails to protect his totems, and you cleanse them, or he protects them, and they proc.
This is, literally, how totems work. Claiming 'I don't want to do bones because they take time' is also saying 'I just want to genrush & not be punished'.
Just. Do. Bones.

The build was a joke could have made that more clear, what I say after that physically about No Way Out is like what I actually have to say about No Way Out (if that sentence just made any sense).

DS was nerfed... ######### are you talking about?
1 -
Yeah, but you still assume it, unless you saw them work a gen or heal someone or somthing.
1 -
You mean the part where survivors have much more time to find NOED?
Yeah...
1 -
If you see no gen slowdown in the game assume its one of two things:
Hyper snowball with high detection/chase power/Slugging power.
Or
Its an end game build so "Do Bones!" and leave as soon as you can.
Its actually really easy to tell when the killer has NOED so you can prioritize bones over gens.

Fun. Sure loads of it.

On the plus side there won't be many slow down perks and with an endgame build you'll have had plenty of chances to make your points before that build activates.
0 -
Not at all, they only encourage two things Survivors should be capable of anyway. Do totems and hide.

Wasn't the exact same thing said about NOED and Bloodwarden?
0 -
I mean, any decent endgame perk is going to synergize with NOED since it's an endgame perk. It's perfectly fine without it, and many killers excel in endgame anyway. I'm currently using No Way Out as part of an alternative to meta builds, so it's nice that it's getting a significant buff to reward you for hooking all 4 survivors. Really, No Way Out is rewarding healthy killer gameplay by spreading hooks and giving the survivors a more fun time whereas BBQ does the same, but with points instead. One could say that, even if the perk combo of NO Way Out and NOED is maximized, the killer probably wasn't exactly failing the entire match and got carried by NOED in the first place.

Me too!
Counterforce + Detectives Hunch has been amazing and I have had zero issues with Hexes when I run those.
Some people don't like changing their build... and they don't like doing bones. Survivors want to get their objective done as fast as possible... yet they get all frazzled when the killer does the same thing ;_;
