A strange AFK wraith
So it's near the end of the rift which means it's AFK wraith season, potentially the most dynamic experience DBD has to offer - low on interactivity but high on counterplay.
Anyway I realise we have one of these absolute madmen hiding cloaked somewhere on Ormond, I have a flashlight and I'm on comms with someone with spine chill so ofc he doesn't stay cloaked for long once the wraith hunt begins. But after toasting him to perfection he angrily swings his weapon in my direction. So not even AFK then?
But no he doesn't move, or lunge, he just swings his weapon every so often (I'd say 10 second intervals). So we farm some altruism and leave. I doubt the guy was just sat there with a metronome and pressing m1 at regular intervals even when we weren't near him. What's going on here?

AFK farmers sometimes set up an auto clicker so they can farm hit points from survivors. Strange to put it on a Wraith, though.

Was it console? He was probably AFK while doing something else. Heck, I guess it could have been PC if he was on his phone. But I assume PC players would just use a different tab. I sometimes do that when I need to make sure the afk timer doesn't kick me in other games. Like, if I need to leave the room for a minute or two.

It's either a macro or a farming bot.

Sounds...strange. Worked out for us in terms of points, but he got about 6k points with 4 cakes on. He would've got a lot more by actually playing
I think so. He had the crossplay icon for all of us so it wasn't steam or PS4.

Saw this with a Bubba the other day. Swinging at perfectly timed intervals, staying in the same spot. Had perks too. Not sure what he was doing but anyways.

Saw a Freddy do this, he was hitting the air repetitively while standing there. It's always the Freddy's for me.
