Popular situation with farming bloodpoints these days.
When there are like 2 or 3 cakes, a killer wants to farm so you get around 100-120k points after the match.
When there are like 4-5 cakes, every killer in a match like that tryhards so hard that you might not even get 100k points for 4-5 cakes.
This is just so sad :( And I wanted to share with this sadness

I haven't seen a single farming killer since the event started and I've played at least 10 matches per day.
Not even the ones that use the bloodpoint charm (there was a thread where they said this shows that the killer wants to farm).

You say try hard but think about it from this perspective. Queue times for Killer can range anywhere from 2-7 minutes. I'm not going to sit around and wait for a game just to not be able to properly play and enjoy it. Especially when dozens of Survivor groups before and after you will do the same thing.

This is a complete joke.
Every single match I see 2 cakes, a killer plays nice, doesn't tunnel, camp, act toxic and actually let survivors farm.
Every single match I see 4-5 cakes, the match is terrible and it's full of tryharding killers who do everything to make it an unfun experience for survivors like tunnelling/camping even when survivors point at a killer about "hey dude, 4 cakes, let's farm maybe".
This community is terrible and deserves no events like this cause the players themselves act like total sh*theads.

Farming bps is the most boring activity you could possibly do in this game. You could bring me 40 cakes and I would still play the game normally.

I had mixed experiences so far. I play only killer and Friday night started at 11pm eu CST and the first 3 games were 4-5 cakes and overall farming.After that varying cake numbers but always at least the one from me and more or less bp gains but never cooperative faming.
At roughly 3 to 4am I had the only confirmed 4 men swf (i check profiles just out of curiosity). 5 cakes and the game didn't even last 5 minutes, I didn't even get 1 hook and the only one I could've gotten was flashlight saved. Probably my fault since I just play soft for the 4 bbq stacks and 8 hooks.
4 "gg" in after-game chat followed by a "yeah right" from me and then they apologized. No one got more than 15k bp and I ended with less than 10k. This was the worst game of the weekend but a noticable number where similar, even with five cakes and me being obvious and ignoring people at death hook and so on.

No they're right farming is very boring. And if you try and go against it you usually get singled out with everyone going against you and taunting you

Farming is boring. I'll double hook everyone then slug or mess around until they escape.
Unless I need 3 grabs for the rift since that's impossible to get via normal play.

Im not saying im farming while I sleep because thats against the rules.
But I might go unconcious during a match and survivors are always welcome to finish the match and their own pace. The Bloodpoints, Shards and Deranks are fine with me while im unable to function.

I haven't managed to convince survivors that I want to farm. They just push through gens when I don't engage.

Yeah, that's happened to me a lot too. Though usually if I get them all on death hook, they're eager to farm. I've had a lot of matches where there's 3 BNP's, and gens get done super fast.
Usually when there's a DC, or I get them all on death hook, they're pretty eager to farm. I was getting my Oni crown, and someone DC'd, so the others just farmed with me. Sadly I STILL didn't get that stupid challenge where you demon dash for ten seconds, because I mistimed it. I've only had maybe ONE group come to me at the beginning of the match, and indicated "Let's Farm!" (There were 5 cakes, and it was DELICIOUS!). It seems like, oddly enough, SWF are better for farming because they get the message much easier than solo queue, who aren't sure if they can trust the killer.

I mean, I have had 3-4 survivors put up cakes and the gen rush me. No idea why, but I stopped using my cakes as a result. I will just save them for when I need to farm BP for a new release in the future or something.
I am not saying we need to farm, I am not much of an old McDonald myself. But, like, you know we could triple or quadruple 20k points instead of 10k. Right?

Ill be honest...i dont mind farming as a killer or survivor, i play mostly killer, but the thing is... it gotta come from both sides, and i heard so so often from surv "but farming is boooooring duuuuh i dont do that duuuuh"
Fine, then i kill the survivors, but these will be the same kind that will either say that the grind is high and not getting a lot of BP
Or theyll ask you why you didnt farmed with them as they already had pushed through 2-3 gens before hand
Beside lately both parties started to tryhard and play so toxic out of nowhere, its really the saddest Aniversary so far on the game, because people dont want to enjoy it
