Intermittent Lag/delay in game

Has anyone else experienced performance issues in-game as a survivor or killer where there will be seconds of strange delay or lag. It happens at random and it's VERY FRUSTRATING. If I'm working on a generator and a skill check happens to occur during this lag it will totally blow the gen!
