Gen and Exit Gate Rework
To me the base objective is to repair gens then open the gates and leave. It's just too simple and dull. So I've put more strategy into both. It might sound unfair or not right at first so just read the whole thing.
The first major change is the gens. Each gen has a mark at 25%, 50%, 75%, and done. Once you hit any of these markers then you will gain 1 power charge. You need 17 power charges to power the "exit gates". However, this means you can pick and chose which gens you get charges from. With 7 gens giving you 28 charges. Getting a charge means that progress can't be taken back, so now the base is 25%, ect. Now survivors don't know how many charges are left to go, there is no hud warning. Killers know. Of course when a gen is complete everyone hears it, when a charge is done a small noise can be heard and something else.
Now in the middle of the map is a small spire, with cords connecting to every gen and 2 bigger cords connecting to 2 spires at the exit gates. Each time a charge is done you can see a faint neon type line that connects to the gen, it gets brighter with more progress. The spire in the middle also gets brighter with more progress. Once there is enough power the spire it will make a loud powering up type noise and the killer will receive a notification, it will also be glowing of the noen color of choice for that map. However this does not mean gens are blocked, they can all still be repaired. At the spire in the middle there are 2 levers connecting to the big cords. When pulling a lever a small metal belt will appear around your character only for survivors. Then a ball of energy will be in the cord and follow you to the exit gate which is what it powers. When doing this you cannot move futher then 5 meters from it, if you are hit then instead the belt will drop and you won't be injured. Once at the exit gate you will pull a lever connected to the spire opening it. The path is long but won't be impossible.
Now you could not do that and instead try to repair every gen. This will trigger a power overload at the center which first sends a shock wave breaking every hook, then a colored ball will grow from the spire until it covers the whole map. Any survivor who touches this will escape. Any survivor on first or second hook that's hit with the shock wave will be unhooked. The reason it's so rewarding is because it's so hard. Now if a gen is regressing for more then 25 seconds and is stopped at a marker then it will brake the marker making it harder to get to the next marker, it will also brake any already done and regress at ruin speed once one is broken. You still keep that progress. So by standing at the center of the map you can tell how much progress you have and where, it also tells you where each gen is by following the cord. As a final stand killers can brake a part of the spire when powering up to make it require more charges, only when it's powering up.
