Reporting a player for specifically dragging out the game to kill one player.
Can I report a player for this?
I had a terrible game where the killer just kept dragging it out. I do 4 gens all while he slugs, hooking just to kick nearly complete gens with pop. The other survivors probably spent most of the game in a trap or on the ground or hooked. Once it was just me and another survivor he recruits the one remaining other survivor to find me. This process alone took about 5 mins, as I couldn't figure out what was happening and went into immersion mode. Eventually I find them, the other survivor running circles around him. So he sees me running up, runs up to me and double m1's me. He hooks me sits there and m1s me until I die. Then he let the last survivor go even after a minute of the survivor just following him around.
I feel like this is borderline reportable (like actually reporting to customer service), but I feel like having the name and a bunch of screen shots will result them ignoring it.
I do wear only the pride charm, but I doubt it was for this reason. Nothing about my behavior in game seems like it would warrant this. I had a map and and I don't even think I used a pallet on him. At best, he didn't like me using balanced landing in the shack to dodge an m1 or that I evaded him most the game.
On a slightly separate note, should I start recording games? I encountered a speed hack legion (like they walked faster than sprint burst everywhere) and a speed hack billy (aptly named something that insinuates they were hacking) over the last couple of weeks but I obviously have no way to prove that without recording. Mostly wondering for people who record if that helps you at all. Even if it's just to show friends.

I doubt this as well - Probably not worth mentioning honestly. This is also why I hated the fact that BHVR added representation in game because now people are just going to worry about this or use it as an excuse etc.
P.S. - I'm gay and I don't say that out of "hate"
As for your game - Being honest here as a biased killer player - You said you do 4 gens while they slugged the other survivors? Do you hide most of the game? Were you never hooked while the other 3 survivors were? Honestly if I have those games where I'm dumpstering 3 survivors and there's this 4th survivor who is hard to find I will spare one survivor if they sell out their teammate because I genuinely hate immersed / hiding players. They're boring and put too much pressure on the other 3 survivors and I hate dealing with that as survivor so I will pretty well do what your killer did.
It's not about winning it's about sending a message.

Can for sure report the teammate for working with the killer.
Normally the killer isn't doing anything wrong when slugging for a 4k though.

As a killer you don't have to kill certain survivors - There's no rule saying I have to kill a certain survivor and there's no rule saying you can't out other survivors to save your own life. Been talked about a lot in the past and even devs / mods have clarified on this. It has to be pretty blatant for them to do anything.
Like if I have a survivor clicking a torch at me wanting me to chase them am I working with them if I choose not to and they follow me? Same concept with the last survivor - I don't care if they're just conveniently ratting out their teammate I'm just playing my own game. If it works out for them somehow then cool - Don't care.

I don't think that's reportable. The player has to be working with the killer to gain an advantage, or grief the player.
GRIEFING: INTENTIONAL GAMEPLAY ABUSE
- Working with the opposite team to gain an advantage or grief teammates
As far as you know, the killer just decided to target you instead of your other teammate.
Griefing would be more in the line of player just farming kills, pretending to go for an unhook but doesn't while the killer is right there, ect. .. it has to be pretty obvious and blatant.

In the situation described, (I would think) video might be confirmation of working with the killer.
True killer is free to grant mercy or kill everyone. I'd leave it to the devs though as to how far mercy can go before it's a partnership.
I also agree with exposing another to escape, but that usually doesn't involve flaunting your presence in front of the killer or is it necessary. There is a big difference between triggering the hatch and being given it

I'll give the hatch to who ever I want however I want. If a survivor outs someone who was annoying I'll spare them as a consolation prize assuming they immediately leave when they can. As I said as a killer I come first. I don't care what the survivor does on their end as it isn't my problem nor my obligation to please everyone.
It needs to be very blatant like them seeking each other out from the start or something and the survivor body blocking teammates to grief. Ultimately you can't prove the killers guilt in this just the survivor. That's pretty much the survivor griefing. You likely need a confession to prove killer guilt.

it depends what killer it was
example: a pig who got their snoot booped

If I ever met a survivor come out to help me find the last one, I would do the same, but usually they both just hide and the one time someone did come out to do gens, they surrendered, but after making me wait 5 minutes, I was just ready to end the game. Lol.
Don't think they were trying to help me as they did not approach with some teabags or something. They were just on a gen and immediately dropped their item as I got closer.
Personally, they need to come to me if I am to get the clue that they want to do something weird. If I find them, I assume it is the standard gameplay loop.

It is reportable as it's working with the killer.
On the downside, nothing will come of it as reports just get put in a very deep hole never to be spoken of again.

Coming off of being an immersed player (not fully but getting there), I don’t recommend you do this. I consider immersion as a phase. One I am currently growing out of because the “honeymoon” is over, and others likely will as well. I don’t know how long you’ve been playing this game, but you probably went through it for a hot second yourself when the game was in its infancy. There are true horror fans out there like myself that actually enjoy the thrill of being hunted and trying to go undetected. Our hearts are literally racing, we are holding our breath, while the killer is nearby searching for us as we watch. If he gives up and walks away, we let out a big sigh of relief and a “whew!” Our eyes widen when we unexpectedly come across a stealthy killer that just happened to miss us in his peripheral. What may seem as an annoyance & a hindrance to season competitive vets (especially killers), is a ton of fun and exhilarating for horror enthusiasts. As for me, like I said I’m over it- I no longer get those jolts of adrenaline induced feelings playing this game. I’m transitioning away from it, naturally (immersion- not the game).
I get that it puts more pressure on the other 3, but more often than not- the immersed isn’t fully aware. From MY viewpoint, I always looked at it as it’s BETTER for my team if I PERSONALLY don’t get caught by the killer because I’ll go down in 10 seconds, being more of an hindrance. It’s best I stay low key, do objectives, and go for safe saves.
Now I think the community keeps getting immersed players and COWARDS confused. A coward will willingly know the killer is preoccupied and not go for a save. A coward will NOT take protection hits if you’re on death hook and they don’t have any. A coward will NOT stay on a 97% final gen with you as a killer with PGTW approaches, and you’re injured. A coward opens the exit gate and leaves. A coward waits for you to die and doesn’t attempt to do the final gen if there are only two survivors left. Those guys are scum- not immersed players.
Not a fan of a killers & survivors teaming up to look for immersed players because they have no hooks. And then when they die and see the score tally, the immersed player has more points dead than the last snitch survivor until the killer lets him escape. That’s not cool. Please bare in mind the only message this sends is a reminder of how toxic this community can be. Immersed players are not coming from a place of competitiveness, they truly believe they are in the element of what the game was developed for (immersive horror) and not what it’s become (competition). Give them time and they’ll outgrow it.
