Bit bummed the rift was extended
Does anyone else think the rift doesnt have enough content in it / levels ?
I reached level 70 before the final tome was even out and the same thing happened for the last one. Still bummed we didnt get a level 100 young bill. Id love to see it increased to 100.

They literally just changed the rift to make it easier for people to complete, there isn't any need to make it harder again. Also, why are you complaining about cosmetics being easy to get?

I'm assuming it's because Bill is a licensed character and they would need permission from Valve for that.

He is all over the advertising, and as far as I know young bill isnt a thing in L4D so they literally got permission to create a new version of bill

The rift got extended bc its difficult to play right now on some consoles. Im still 45 bc i dont want to play a game which isnt fun. But they wont fix the problems before the midchapter, so i think i dont want to play to finish the rift anyway.
And the old rift was to grindy imo.

They extended both. The most likely reason is because of the issues on console. Killer feels pretty much unwinnable, making Killer archives challenges difficult to impossible without going full sweat to account for lag denying you precious hits.

it feels a bit unnecessary since they already dropped the EXP requirement for a fragment to 500 (previously 800), which made the whole thing much easier.
still, i dont mind them extending it a bit for those who didnt get the chance to play enough.
also, i 100% agree with @Boss here. there needs to be something to fill the empty spots in the free rift!

Usually they release the next Tome with the mid-chapter patch. Extending the time on this tome one week isn't going to delay the release of the next tome since 3 weeks after PTB closes is Aug 3.

Why? They don't release rifts back-to-back. If anything, they should be permanently extended.

I would not mind the rift having more content. But I think it's this way so slowpokes can get it finished in time. You quick bois are not who the current timetable is aimed towards.

I have a job where I work 8-12 hours a day and got 70 on page 3

Most rifts I don't bother with since they're inundated with so many charms. If that floats your boat, great, but in my opinion my $10 could be best spent elsewhere than on a bunch of useless charms.

Epicer Idea: You know those 2 sets of 5 charms each rift, pictured below (best picture I could find so just ignore the meme part of it)
What if, the Empty Gaps were just filled with MORE recolors of the same charm!?!?!? We could have a green one, and a blue one. Trust me, I know this, these are the fan favorite charms so if anything I think I'm being too generous with this idea.

I just got level 70 today, and I had to play way more than I wanted to to get there. The grind was better this time, but still too steep, IMO.
