How to upload a video file for a bug report?

I found a bug on switch and used the Switch's built-in recorder to take a clip of it, but it saves as an mp4 file which apparently can't be uploaded on the forums. How do I get the video clip into the post so I can finish the report?

You could try uploading the video file to youtube and linking the youtube video in your bug report.

Good a time as any to figure out how uploading youtube videos works. Now I know I can leave it unlisted so it can only be found here, which was the the main thing I was worried about.
