Just needed to vent about this event.

Really yall? Really? Everybody pretty much should just be trying to grab some BP and yes winning is fun and all, I still would like a 4K if I'm killer or escape if I'm survivor but holy crap it seems like each match there is just people ruining this event.

Everybody using a cake for an offering, sweet, lets play a match get some BP but no. A survivor DC's because he gets hooked first, or a killer just face camping on first hook cuz they lack the ability to get a kill any other way. Had a freaking Elodie try to get off hook on her first hook even though she sees me coming for her, a Bill disconnects cuz he gets hit first. Why is everybody ruining one of the few good things this gave gives us anymore?

And no its not just survivors, how many freaking games I get into with once again 5 cakes and just one face camping killer? Or an extremely tunneler ignoring everybody but one person, yall for real? This is why we can't have nice things, damn. Just wanted to have some fun good games and gain some extra BP but yall ruining this crap

Had hardly any games with all cakes, get 3 at most, but seen many killers camp but they will full in slug everyone with a dc at the start of the game. And survivors dc like mad. But yeah pretty crappy event as usual, times like this I wish I did 4 man swf

Well I'm on console and know loads of old gen console players, not one of them has ever disconnected/crashed since the patch. The frames and lag are god damn awful still but when players DC that's them just quitting so I agree

i do 4 man swf sometimes but even when we aren't trying to win or be sweaty 60% of the killers legit just hardcore tunnel, had a Wraith last night who hooked one of my friends, i unhooked him, surprise Wraith was around corner camping, and he just cut past me and my two other friends to go straight to him again, like 4 games in a row one of us just got tunneled for zero reason we just got bored of it and got off

The number of times I've been left to die on first hook in a 5 cake game is mindblowing. Events like this can be a nightmare in solo queue haha.

But for the first time a Pig let me boop the snoot, so there's that.

I think there is something our community is overlooking… DBD is a video game, and kids play video games. A lot of wich are immature and selfish due to their age (not all). Same kids who ruined Friday the 13th with their stupid ######### like killing fellow campers with the car and shooting them. Same kids who would rage quit out of frustration for being found first or “losing.” Don’t get me wrong, adults can be guilty of this too- but I suspect a lot of immaturity when it comes to everything you mentioned above.

Well if been solo most of the time since its release, it's why iv been using DS ever since it came out lol. But it can be kinda annoying but as long as people push the gens I dint mind being tunneled because I know I can punish the killer, just those games where people dont do anything annoy me lol. It's when theres a dc early and killers still mega slug and camp, like bro can we get some points at least? Dont have to try so hard when you have already won... but this is why I hate it when the dc penalties are turned off. I normally dont play when they are but it's an event and I'll be busy next week so have to make the most of it

I crashed 12 times prior to last patch, havent since then. Probably time to turn dc penalty back on

Agreed but damn Idk why I had high expectations from the community after we all get crapped on from devs >_>

BP is BP. I am getting enough to try and get my killers up to 50, so I can't complain.

Yeah, truth be told I was expecting something better too. But we must be careful with expectations, especially when it comes to DBD.

When you have challenges that say ‘down 25 survivors’ it’s pretty inevitable that slugging is about to happen.

To be perfectly honest, I play Spirit with a slugging build and that typically works. Gets 25 downs in a trial if you just hit them when they get picked up. Deerstalker and Sloppy makes this wonderful.

You need to down Survivors ASAP and have the mobility to ensure they stay down, which Spirit is great for.

I feel your pain. I had a match as Wraith the other day, and we brought in four cakes. I had every intention of playing the game like normal, but one survivor disconnected right at the beginning of the match, and another survivor disconnected right before their death hook. Little did they know though, that I had no intention of killing them. Thankfully the other two survivors were good sports and we all farmed together so we could get the maximum amount of blood points.

But I agree, who the hell disconnects when there's four or five cakes on the line?
