Face Camping
I have noticed lots of red rank killers face camping & tunneling these days.
Am guessing that is probably due to the nerfing of anti tunneling perks so no survivor has DS anymore.
The devs seem to want to encourage more of the camp the hook playstyle.
My question is if you get a 4k but face-camp the whole game is that a pip now?

I feel like its the calm before the storm right now. They know there is an issue with people tunneling and camping for a variety of reasons. From the rainbow charm to shimmering survivors trying to unlock their character cosmetic. Its eventually going to be addressed, but the real question is when. They gave us Soul Guard to help against slugging... but its locked behind DLC. We have 1 off the hook anti-tunnel perk. The real use of DS now is to counter solo players hook farming you without BT. Which is my case anyway.

It was ranking me up pretty easily when I tunneled. Now that I am playing a bit more how survivors want me to, I am dropping like a fly.
Literally only face camping doesn't give you a pip, but you can usually do that to get someone out of the game and 4k regularly after that unless they get the hatch.

You wont get a 4k camping the whole game, unless the survivors do something foolish like rush basement against a camping bubba 🤷♂️

Killers do it more because survivors are more efficient on gens. It's just how the game goes.
Not sure about pips, no-one really cares about them since the system is so insanely broken to the point that even the developers admitted it.

Oh ok yeah that makes sense.
Yeah they don't literally face camp, just stay around the hook waiting for a save so they get one hit on the person who rescues and then tunnel the person who got unhooked.

Difficult 4k against a swf, 90% likely to get a 4k against solo queue.

Actually in my experience the opposite is ture. Swfs want their buddy. I dont know you, im way less likely to try and find noed to save you 😂
Added: Unless its a comp team. Theyll leave you with the 1k and laugh at your depip
