Not really if you ask me it's the the most perfect and powerful hex perk in the game

I’m only going to focus on your first statement because it’s specifically regarding devour hope and I completely agree with you. Devour Hope is a wonderful perk.. sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn’t. Playing against it as a survivor or using it as a Killer.. I think it’s a fantastic perk.

You definitely don’t mean Grim Pantry, which has two of the most obvious and dedicated totem spawns of any map.

Yes please, nerf devour hope! Me and my rank 16 friends only know how to repair, what means that totem thing? LOL!

I think Devour's very balanced. At the ranks where people actually run Devour Hope, you should expect hex perks very regularly and either bring perks/maps to find them or have done a decent job remembering spawn locations. Devour is a very risky thing to bring at high ranks and will usually get cleansed before it has an effect.
At low-medium ranks, it guts teams, but the same can be said for NOED, Ruin, etc.
Devour/Undying is a more dangerous combo, but encountering Undying without Ruin early on gives away the killer's intentions and tells the team they must look for totems ASAP.
